Lauryn Hill was on track to be one of the most amazing voices of her generation but then kinda fell out, but her voice is unmistakable. Tanya Blount killed this set with her singing ability being closer to matching that Gospel vibe. Both attacked the song differently but absolutely amazing!

At a very young age of five, "Sister Act", opened the door of joy in my heart which showed me that even the world of showbusiness was able to bring the light of praising and worshiping God through the diverse eyes of viewers around the world. I really love movies with church choir teams (themes), they really inspire me especially I'm a worship pastor in our church and at the last part of that Now where Whoopie cried, I myself can't hold back my tears seeing the same choir team that inspired me as a child. Wow- awesome rendition both then and Now- it brought me to tears- I love this movie. Kudos to Whoopi Goldberg and staff. Thank God for the impact you gave every one of these talented individuals.

Yikes! I didn’t know that was Tanya Blount from “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” duet! I am attached to effortless easygoing-ness of the original one. Now that I know this is Tonya Blount. I get it. She always had that “girl…you can blow..uh uh this voice is for church” type voice.

At a very young age of five, "Sister Act", opened the door of joy in my heart which showed me that even the world of showbusiness was able to bring the light of praising and worshiping God through the diverse eyes of viewers around the world. I really love movies with church choir teams (themes), they really inspire me especially I'm a worship pastor in our church and at the last part of that Now where Whoopie cried, I myself can't hold back my tears seeing the same choir team that inspired me as a child. Thank you so much, "Sister Act". You'll always be my fave ❤❤❤
