The characters, the setting, the GORGEOUS soundtrack, to me, easily one of the best soundtracks ever made. When you listen to a track from the film, you almost get transported to another realm, that rings true for this song especially, I always get so emotional listening to this one!

In fact, you CAN! Many of the scenes in the movie were inspired by real places. Try visiting the Alps on the Swiss or German side, for example, or Colmar, France. When COVID ends, you can travel all you want. Svaneti, Georgia is another great destination. You know, I've always wanted to go to these places. Never had the chance though. But thanks to Google Maps, I can virtually visit these places. It's nice, actually.

Am I the only one getting flashbacks of my childhood days in sepia tone (for some reason) ? I can't help but recall when I hear this. The times when kindergarten ended early and I get to hang out with my friends while eating sandwiches and juice boxes, talking about cartoons and whatnot. Or the times after school when our car broke down that little me had to walk a few blocks home with my mom at noon, passing by the green fields, the warm breeze gently blowing through the peaceful scenery. You can find places like this if you go hiking in the mountains. I always used to go mountain hiking with my dad as a kid. I miss those days and I hope one day I make enough money through my art and animation to get a car and visit the mountains again. This song reminds me of my childhood and the beautiful places we used to visit. x
@@hikikyomori, @Max, Britain, I recommend Saddleback/Blencathra in the lake-district, there was one other place with flowers near the lakes but I can't remember it's name, but I saw some flowers on Saddleback and it looks like a perfect spot to camp by the lake there. Wales also has nice mountain views, Scotland and Ireland look great bu I haven't had the opportunity to go hiking in either of those regions yet. There are amazing mountains all over the world that I'd love to climb. The scenery in howls moving castle looks alpine.
When I listening to this song, I just feel enough. Nothing less, nothing more. I feel a peace of an oldman that ready to face death and I don't scare of it. I just happy and grateful for everything I had, those people that I met, and those place I have visited. I just feel enough.

I remember back in high school, me and my best friend was walking home from school through this beautiful park and she introduced me to this song. The first time I heard this I nearly cried. The park, the sunlight, me and my best friend sharing an earphone to listen to this song :") good times
Am I the only one getting flashbacks of my childhood days in sepia tone (for some reason) ? I can't help but recall when I hear this. The times when kindergarten ended early and I get to hang out with my friends while eating sandwiches and juice boxes, talking about cartoons and whatnot. Or the times after school when our car broke down that little me had to walk a few blocks home with my mom at noon, passing by the green fields, the warm breeze gently blowing through the peaceful scenery. Or when my brother and I played around the neighborhood or sat down to watch these kiddy shows dubbed in our own dialect. They were so weird yet that's what made them memorable. They were honestly such simple days and yet I love them more everytime I think about them.
You can really tell that the pianist put a lot of feeling in this.

This song feels like the end credits to long, fulfilling life. The last hurrah before we move on to another plane of existence. Though our life was full of struggle and hardship, it was equally filled with Joy and Love. Even if there are some things we regret, some things we wish we could take back, we're still content with how it all turned out. Therefore we smile in the face of death, accept it with open arms as we pass on. Because what can we really do in the end?
The lightness of this just gives me such a profound lovely feeling in my heart.. it reawakened me to the human experience.
So many scenes from this movie reminded me of my home, and I forget at times how lucky I am, to live in as beautiful a place as I do.

Well since I was a little child and I was watching that....I felt everything like every feeling the characters had except the falling in love part....I remember learning every line and every night I played theatre to my parents😅😅😅but now that I'm in love and I'm in a relationship....it feels a lot different....cause I understand how howl and Sophie feel. Me and my fiancé watched that the previous week and I was crying in his hug with Marry go round of life while howl and Sophie were walking in the air saying I want to get married to this song😅😅and a minute ago he stood up and said "let's dance" I mean.... we're dancing with this song on our wedding next month😭💞

You can find places like this if you go hiking in the mountains. I always used to go mountain hiking with my dad as a kid. I miss those days and I hope one day I make enough money through my art and animation to get a car and visit the mountains again. This song reminds me of my childhood and the beautiful places we used to visit. x

Saddleback/Blencathra in the lake-district, there was one other place with flowers near the lakes but I can't remember it's name, but I saw some flowers on Saddleback and it looks like a perfect spot to camp by the lake there. Wales also has nice mountain views, Scotland and Ireland look great bu I haven't had the opportunity to go hiking in either of those regions yet. There are amazing mountains all over the world that I'd love to climb. The scenery in howls moving castle looks alpine.
