Mariah referenced this song in "We Belong Together" (🎶And then I heard Babyface, 'I only think of you on two occasions'...🎶). The guy on the drums is one of Babyface's writing partners. He's the "LA" part of LaFace Records.
First singers name is Kayo. He’s also a great songwriter and producer. He also provided background vocals (along with Face and Karyn white) on bobby brown’s “tenderoni.”
Darnell "Dee" Bristol comes in first with the "crazy" hair followed by Babyface, then Carlos "Satin" Greene with the hat. L.A. Reid is on the drums and Kevin "Kayo" Roberson is also in there playing what looks like the double bass. Shoot 'Em Up Movies was their follow up to this particular track and was on the same album 'Eyes Of A Stranger', which I also went mad about when it was released, but it is very different to Two Occasions - well' the video to it is. When I used to sing this song around my younger sister, she thought I was making it up (because the concept and chorus is so unique {and a bit silly}.
