This is one of the most entertaining movies ever made. It's like a cross between everything great about old Hollywood epics and everything great about the Fast and the Furious movies. It's utterly absurd, but it knows it's absurd. I wish American actions movies leaned this hard into being over the top.
The film is available in original language telugu on a platform called zee5. It will be available on dubbed version in hindi language on Netflix. And its not a bollywood film. Its from a language called telugu and those films are called Tollywood films. Yesterday it got nominated for two categories in golden globes. Best foreign language film and best song
It doesn't looks like but it has a very deep and compelling story which makes it impossible to stop it at any point. You should defiantly watch it and can also put your reaction and review out. Always fun to check your videos. Keep spreading smiles:)
Black Adam Honest Trailer has dropped. I’m looking forward to your vs. on this one, because Pitch and Honest both nailed it. I loved you doing this RRR review, LOL.
You have to watch this movie!! Is amazing!! The best thing I watched this year! So unique and different but so much fun! I was in love immediately! I like so much that I went after more movies like this from the same director! Bahubali was amazing too! I want more now!! Watch and then watch Bahubali too! You gonna get hooked!!
You need to watch it. I saw it on Netflix. It is easily one of my favorite films. The only American movie to compare it would be Patriot with Mel Gibson. Fight the British kind of films. The dancing number was fun. I didn't mind the crazy action as I don't think Hollywood understands as much as they do on why action films work. They also show that yes 3 hours of a well paced and just fun movie draws people. It doesn't matter where it is made, but people I think want to watch a fun movie.
Weirdly enough, The Patriot has worse historical representation than RRR, cuz it tries to pin a bunch of stuff the Americans were responsible for on the British and straight up fabricate massacres. I mostly despise this kind of stuff, even in Indian films, mostly cuz misrepresenting history is always detrimental to setting up actual context. There were actual cases of massive injustice during the British Rule in India, but there were also plenty of nuances leading up to, during and immediately after the Rule that people don’t talk about to serve their own purposes. I think that degrades the film a lot. As for the American Revolution… it was mostly unjustified and only really benefitted the existing Aristocratic infrastructure of the land that turned them into ruling Oligarchs based solely on wealth. The British also freed the slaves that fought for them, while the Americans promised to do so but often reneged, and let’s not forget that Abolitionism by the UK would’ve helped in America too. The British also respected Indigenous land rights a little more over there, although the case of Australia was very different, they were unlikely to go Manifest Destiny like the Americans very illegally did. All in all, more historical revisionism, unnecessary if you ask me. The British are an easy punching bag, and they’ve definitely earned their fair share of criticism by having done horrific things, but not at the expense of historical context. Because so many have done bad things that cannot be ignored either.
@@theperson8539 Yeah the film isn't historically accurate, but just a fun film to watch. If you go see most films I think it is wise to know that most films are fully just fabricated. However, as given as example. The Patriot did serve its purpose. It was an action film and yes much put it that was accurate. It still was a fun movie to watch. The British were known for being brutal with their subjects. America was that a subject like India. America colonists weren't treated as an equal to a European. Honestly, we weren't expected to win the war and only won it due to French killing themselves to make it happen. Which if it were historically accurate basically should have us being able to do nothing without their help. Your view on history as if no nation on Earth does bad things. They all have done bad things and good in most cases. If we judged every nation on Earth as if they did bad. Well, that is the human race as whole. So it seems self defeating if you love history, but find yourself unable to ignore the bad or at least being able to enjoy a film regardless of how off it is. Braveheart another one really far off isn't watched for being dead on. It is just about an action flick. If you want history I know myself I go to a documentary. If you are getting your history from only TV and Movies. You need to not do that. As for Manifest Destiny for the time it was done in wasn't wrong. You are using Modernism to justify wrongs or not. Most of Africa was heavily involved into the slave trade which an African King begging the British not to end it as their source of income. Human history isn't a neat little package. It is disgusting to a modern sense of right and wrong, but you go back to the times and the majority of humanity was very different. It is why Modernism doesn't work with history. You are forcing your modern perception on a people who didn't think the same and are far dead to change what did happen. If you are an American you live in a nation which your life has benefited from that. It isn't over by the way as of at some point if the nation doesn't split will sooner or later take Canada. If you look at the logical steps as history goes. Canada is likely at some point going to end up annexed. You were one to push how much you enjoy history. If you follow history. You know it is true.
@@James-rm7sr I was in the middle of writing a massive comment in response to this (several paragraphs of details), but then RUclips did the RUclips thing and reloaded out of nowhere... fml. Do your own research. I disagree with you, most of what you've said is insane, The Patriot spreads misinformation that too many people accept as fact. American Colonists were treated as fairly as possible within the context of their taxation, not too dissimilar to the British common people. The other colonies were treated far worse on account of not being populated almost entirely with White Immigrants. I research my history, and the people who watch Mel Gibson films should too, lest they be filled with false knowledge. Manifest Destiny was never okay, just about anyone back then could tell you it was a brutal and f*cked up scheme for expansion, and those who didn't tell you that would tell you that they are jealous cuz they didn't come up with it. Slavery was looked down upon by many since many European countries had outlawed some form of slavery in their history, but the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade that built the Americas was racially motivated and especially brutal. And if you must make the example of an African MONARCH to try and feel better about the scum that degraded other races, made slaves of them, and used them to build your country, you've overreached in hypocrisy several times over and need to actually think about yourself as a person. Modern perspectives on history are never bad because you have to always look at history with a grain of salt, the worst thing a more modern perspective will do is make you unable to be single-mindedly hyped about certain people and events. Whatever the case, the context of the time is obviously important, but personal judgment rendered on these people never was and never will be. Finally (my original comment was much longer than this, please do your own research, and f*ck RUclips), to address the most insane of what you've said. I am not an American, in fact, I have not stepped foot on that continent nor any recently connected continents (thanks for the Panama canal btw, I'm sure the locals appreciate the coups you threw to make it happen). I can only deduce that you want America to take over Canada as if that were some fantasy of yours disguised as some manner of inevitability. This is because even a working understanding of geopolitics has reigned supreme in the world since 1945 and spheres of influence have long since become more important than direct land acquisition. Not only could America not do it without making itself a diplomatic pariah, potentially making the entire world form an alliance against it, which would either result in rapid economic decline and degradation of America or a straight-up Nuclear Holocaust, but they wouldn't want to do it either as there is no actual value in them doing so. In short, to anyone who reads this: do your own research for history. And to the person, I am replying to... you are insane.
@@theperson8539 As for Canada it isn't want to. Just the overall likely hood. The way things are going. China is getting closer to Canada. The US will not permit another power from another hemisphere be so close. You just assumed it is wanted. I rather they stay their own, but not be in a means to threaten the peace between us. I live on the border in Detroit. Any war that starts up better believe is going to involve Detroit. There are a lot of reasons this is a very likely possibility and you know about the plans for such war? Yes, it has already been planned once. It might be a bit different now, but the plan is always on the table. We threw a fit about Cuba. Most of the Canadian population is within range of the US. It would be far more likely a short war. As I said it is an actual plan going back to WW2. The British even did their own set of plans which we know very likely would just back down.
