I don't understand why the people who get angry and /or depressed when they get drunk choose to drink in the first place. If it makes them feel worse it seems like common sense to just avoid it
@@artemis8396 for some, possibly addiction or social pressure to 'fit in' ... but I don't think that explains it overall. Smarter people than I have certainly looked for the answer.
I never read the comics, but as I understand it, in Flashpoint (what the movie basically followed) Instead of Martha and Thomas Wayne being killed, Bruce Wayne died in the mugging and Thomas became Batman, but a more brutal version. He sounds capable of killing off all the villains and making Gotham safe (though I have no idea if he was retired in the comic or not)
Those of us who are true comic nerds are bewildered with these people because they have the story and blueprint laid out for them but they worry more about "THE MESSAGE!!!" Than actually making a great movie. The Flashpoint Paradox is my favorite comic book story arc and the best we have is the Animated movie. We wanted Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne and reverse flash and the Aquaman Wonder woman rivalry. You've got amazing stories right in front of you all you have to do is take it from the page to the screen
While watching the movie i windered, if supergirl wqs captured by the Soviet union presumably shortly after she landed on earth..then when the hell was that suit made 😂
So in regards to why this movie didn’t get Batgirled it’s because they pre sold the movie to overseas markets because it was a big tent pole and part of those contracts mandate theatrical release or paying huge fines. That didn’t happen to Batgirl because it was originally supposed to be a hbo max exclusive and then they changed it to theatrical really late in the process so it didn’t have any contractual obligations to come to theaters. They knew this movie was most likely going to lose money so it’s now a game of do whatever they can to minimize losses
I'm getting old... it is a strange slap in the head when you realize that all of the things I watch and love are now predated... the references that I would assume most people would know ain't the case anymore. I'm am tired of Hollywood, but I won't lie: Seeing Michael Keaten saying "You wanna get Nutz? LETS GET NUTZ" probably would be worth the price of admission.
I'll be honest with ya... that alone is not worth the price of admission, lol. When he says it it makes absolutely no sense in the context of the conversation. He's great in the movie, but that was the only scene that felt off for him.
@@OnMyMindEntertainment That's too bad. It would have been the perfect reference to Keaton's same line in Tim Burton's first Batman movie, were it done in a way that made sense. But thanks for the information. I'll wait unit it is streaming for free. Best regards.
I get so annoyed when director's answer questions outside of the film. I've got no issue with reverse flash being the one who killed Barry's mom, but the fact it wasn't alluded to in the film and the director had to confirm it outside the film just frustrated me. Like if you know the answer and were willing to tell us then why couldn't you have put it in the film?!?
They had the main source "flashpoint the animated movie" and yet didn't apply it, no lets go woke someone said, let's swap superman with superwoman and Thomas Wayne with Bruce Wayne 🤦🏻
I don't think it's Superhero fatigue as to why many of these movies aren't doing well; they're just bad movies, period. If you make a bad movie that people don't like, the genre really won't be an issue; crap is crap regardless.
I skipped this one. I'm just kinda tired of movies where I have to walk out and say "well if nothing else it was fun" ... maybe i'm getting old lol... didn't "fun" movies still used to have substance. idk...
So basically this Barry Becomes what on the CW is Savitar? I wasn't really much into seeing the film outside of I thought Sasha looked great as Supergirl and Batman being in it seemed interesting. However, If they don't have Superman it isn't going to work. The reason he beat Zod in the first place was due to being on Earth soaking up the sun for the last 18 to 25 years. Supergirl is shown in trailer to just be getting out as like in Flashpoint, but this time Zod being there really messes up Flashpoint which made me not really want to see it. It is nice to hear your views on it. You don't sound hyped about the movie which seems to be much the reaction from reviewers I am seeing. I really hope Warner Bros gives Sasha a chance as you must admit she it hot as Supergirl. At first I wasn't for the black hair, but would have preferred slightly longer and the red boots more like Lara Kent. Even Henry thought she made a great Supergirl and if Superman approves. Hey, I am good with it too.
Took my lil bro to watch the spiderman movie, when i saw the trailer for this I was like, you know, this is flashpoint with some female empowerment sh*t added in to sell it 🤔 Plus some nostalgia to sell it to the boomers like us. I won't watch it on theater so I'll enjoy what this drunken guy and Ryan have to say 😁 Have a nice day 🤝
8:56 Muschetti is full of shit. *Why would it makes a difference to Reverse Flash as to whether or not Henry had to go back out to get a can of tomatoes to make his move on Nora Allen* ?!
While I agree with some of the criticisms, including George Clooney being unnecessarily shoehorned back in at the end, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It's not great, but it is really good, and Ezra was actually fun to watch, especially when the 2 versions were interacting with each other. Also, I noticed the omission of 2 fantastic/epic Superman cameos that occur before that lamentable Bruce Wayne one near the end.
Finally saw this a few weeks ago, and while I was underwhelmed, it wasn't the raging dumpster fire I expected. The opening act was trash, particularly the cgi, and that ridiculous "running pose" scene, and the end battle was almost equally bad, due to cgi and the actual stage for the battle being so visually unappealing, but apart from those, and several of the scenes of Ezra playing with himself, it was watchable. Especially once Michael Keaton came in. Sasha Calle wasn't bad either, though severely underutilized as Drinker pointed out, and it was a little weird seeing her as a dark haired Latina. (MY Supergirl will always be Helen Slater, she looked stunning as Supergirl, despite how awful the movie was. 😂) As for WB trashing Batgirl but not Flash, there are circumstances where a flop can be more profitable than a hit, especially if they never release it in the first place. No money was spent on marketing for Batgirl, and it "only" had something like a $74 million budget, so it was probably a significant tax write off. Meanwhile, Flash had, I think, a $240 million budget, and tons of free press thanks to Ezra's shenanigans, so releasing it was probably the best shot to recoup any of the costs whatsoever, especially once social media's ADHD had found the next squirrel to be outraged about.
The bad CGI ruined this movie for me from the beginning and a double dose of Ezra Miller didn't help matters either. The only bright spot for me was Supergirl and I hope Sasha Calle gets her own Supergirl movie so they can flesh out some of her backstory. I would love to see that.
I kind of feel really out of the loop for this movie. Cause i loved it. It’s up their with Spiderverse and guardians as one of my favorite superhero movies of the year
We need a Wally West movie because he's been flash more than Barry has and he's the fastest speedster to ever live, so fast he was able to outrun death
Movie wasn't all that bad. Lovers are hopping on the "hate ezra" train and shifting on the movie. No, the CGI wasn't the best, but overall the movie was good.
I was casually looking on my recommended page, and clicked on your thumbnail because I thought you were Eric July. LOL. Enjoyed the video.
This video just confirms my personal belief: if you have friends that like to drink, make sure they're the "happy buzzed" kind of drinker.

I was hoping we would see that version of Flashpoint. They could've just followed the animated movie. That would have been epic!
Peter Dinklage in the NBA…
What an image! 😂🤣
Yo!! That got me!!
The 1989 Batman is a cold blooded killer. So I assume all crime stopped because all criminals were afraid that he would murder them.
There's a deleted scene and a bts featurette that confirms that Keaton's Batman killing a criminal in front of their child is why he retired

Love that you're reacting to the Drinker!
you must be jerking off to nerdrotic "content" too. That fits.. incels.

As far as metaphors, I love Pete Holmes version of a retarded and horny batman saying "It's been a long time since the bat has been in the cave."

dude you look just like Eric July (that's a compliment) Got a similar beard style and eyes. it's crazy.
Thats not a compliment. Just another woman hating wannabe alpha hiding behind his insecurities. Typical incel like Drinker and Nerdrotic.

"overblown, chaotic, unfocused, visually disgusting mess"🤣🤣🤣 dang that was harsh lol- i still wanna watch it
Reverse flash couldn't kill berry's mom because reverse flash won't care if the dad was home he will probably prefer that so he won't have an aleby
Just watch the TV series
It had at least 5 good seasons
and it did the plot where he tries to save his mom
I skipped this one. I'm just kinda tired of movies where I have to walk out and say "well if nothing else it was fun" ... maybe i'm getting old lol... didn't "fun" movies still used to have substance. idk...
I'm so sad about the dumpster fire that is the DCU.
You have to watch Honest ads they are hilarious. Need to start with if jobs were honest, bars and theme parks. Id never steer you wrong!
because they got to make money. thats why they released this film even after reboot announcement
If the really intended to use bad CGI, they could have just used the artist from Baman Piderman.

We needJames Gunn to make James Gunn movies.. Mobo, GEN13, any superhero vs MrMxyespitlik….
I know the cgi wasn't all that. But I really like the flash movie. Honestly, I was watching it for Michael Keaton batman. Which was awesome
So you didn't like the flash... You only liked old batman in it?

Great review 😂 I actually really enjoyed the movie though, solid 8/10

I love Keaton, but this isn't what I'm spending money on.

😂 yeah I got nothing
Im more curiouse about how did Berry not having powers had effect on gender of Super man or on who is Batman.
You talk about Michael Keaton not really being remembered???
What about Nick Gage as super man how many people would know that
Barely anyone! That has a cult-like following.
I kind of feel really out of the loop for this movie. Cause i loved it. It’s up their with Spiderverse and guardians as one of my favorite superhero movies of the year
The movie was awful
it was alr. The CGI was awful tho

i give it a 6.5. at no point did i feel a threat. Batman was good, but going into a battle w out a plan? no...
