I have seen Japan inventing an airbag for motorcyclists. It burst out and wraps the human after they hit on something flying in the air and before it crashes on the ground. I think this billion dollar company should do the same rather than just parachuting landing. What if the engine failure when it’s above sea water? Can it float? I’m sure the airbags or exploded foam will help the drone float. Much effective than 4 parachutes. Or having both would also be better😂

The primary fatal flaw in most of these VTOL designs is their dependence on a 4-point propulsion platform that cannot retain control if failure occurs in one of the 4 propulsion assemblies. Both airplanes and helicopters have at least some control retention capabilities should propulsion failure occur, and VTOL systems need to have this capability as well before success in the market is possible.
