    Where is your preload set on your icons? I’m at about 1 1/8” and it rides really stiff. I liked it better at 1” but I’m not sure I can make it fit after I trim the fender liner.

      Its at 1.25" preload. Rides great in and soaks everything up

    Did you have to put any hub spacers? I am looking to upgrade to 17” 9 with 0 offset, but my concern would be it being close or rubbing uca and calipers. I have 2019 at4 with fox 2.5 coils both front n back and ready lift uca. Looking to go 17s . Thanks bro

      No hub spacers needed. 0 offset will be a little tighter, but it should be clear. I'd attempt to veryfy because not all wheels clear. For example, the Fifteen52 0 offset wheels do not clear the brakes. I have a bit more room because im running -12 offset.

    Can you do a quick video on the side steps? I want to see how low they hang down and if they flex when you step on them.

      It's already dark here but I can do a quick review on the side steps tomorrow.

    Great look and ride. This is what I want on my 22 Slt build. I have a 4 inch ready lift already and dont want a huge offset and minimal trimming. I think this might be in the money. What yellow light covers did you use for the fog light?

    • @automotiveandmore
      @automotiveandmore  Год назад

      Thanks, brother. The lights have LaminX tint. I do have a few videos on my RUclips about using that tint on the Sierra and the 4runner if you want to check those put as well.

    Did you change your stock gear ratio from 3.42, up? I'm thinking to get 35's I just want to understand if people that have them feel the need for them.. thanks

    • @automotiveandmore
      @automotiveandmore  7 месяцев назад

      There's no need to. At least with the diesel, you can barely feel a difference compared to the stocks.

    • @itsjustjonnoh
      @itsjustjonnoh 7 месяцев назад

      okay, thanks for the reply. Well, engine wise it doesn’t matter as much. The gear ratio affects the transmission more than anything. But if you’re saying it’s barely a difference that’s the answer i was looking for from someone who runs that setup. Thanks again.

    Very nice looking truck. I really like the 17" rims paired with a 35" tire. One question for you... why did you choose Icon over Fox for your shocks?

    • @automotiveandmore
      @automotiveandmore  Год назад +2

      I originally wanted King 2.5s with reservoirs all around, but at the time, the price and wait times were insane. I was told an ETA of 9 months.

    Are you side steps factory? If not do you think I could get some for 2011 crew cab Silverado? Also, what wheels are you running?

    where do you get your grill and colour matching trim piece around the fog lights?

    • @automotiveandmore
      @automotiveandmore  Год назад

      The grille i got from Ebay and had a bodyshop Paint to Match. The fog light bezels i did myself. I sanded the down and used self etching primer. For paint i bought on amazon AC Delco Summit white in an aerosol can.

    • @DarkenFool
      @DarkenFool Год назад +1

      @@automotiveandmore How do you get those off? Can you just pull the bezels off?

    • @automotiveandmore
      @automotiveandmore  Год назад

      @Rob yes the bezels come put pulling them straight forward. They are very tight, and you have to pull them with force yet be careful at the same time to not break any tabs.

    • @DarkenFool
      @DarkenFool Год назад +1

      @@automotiveandmore do you have a picture on what they look like without them on? Or does it look like the elevation bumper

    • @automotiveandmore
      @automotiveandmore  Год назад

      @Rob the elevation has a different bumper. Our bumper looks terrible and it's obvious there is a piece missing without the bezel.
