Yes, this is 💯 correct. You are seeing wax bloom. It is common in products like lipstick and cream blush when they are exposed to extreme temperatures. So you are also correct, Alexandria, it was stored incorrectly or exposed to heat during shipping.
@@kittiepride7772 It’s still safe to use. You can always wipe off the wax bloom if it interferes. It’s just product separation. It won’t hurt you, but it the wax bloom is thick, it could feel like the formula isn’t smooth.
Yes! I have a lip balm in a tin that had the white dots after a heatwave. The texture is not the same anymore. I still use it but it’s not as smooth anymore.
I really love that all the runoff gets donated. I worked with a shelter for women for several years, and makeup/beauty products were always the least donated and the most requested. Women in terrible situations often express the need to feel "normal" with beauty and healthcare products, since no one ever thinks to donate them. Food and clothes are wonderful, but sometimes these women just want to feel human again and a little bit of blush or lipstick can change their whole lives.

I really like that you don't try on products you know you're not going to use and you donate them instead. I've always thought it was incredibly wasteful when people tried things on knowing they don't like it.
That blush reminds me of the time we bought crayons that had that kinda weird "mold" looking stuff. Called crayola, they sent us replacements, apparently something in the wax leeches a substance that crystallizes. Safe to use when it's on crayons. Lol The replacement crayons had the exact same problem.
I personally want to say thank you for donating. I lost my job in 2021 (covid related) and then totaled my car. Causing my husband and i to be homeless and i couldn't afford any makeup and donations were minimal to non-existent. Recently we lost 90% of all our clothes/shoes/ and everything else we've saved to purchase due to a horrible storm that flooded our tent. Luckily we were able to move into our apartment 1 week before hurricane Ian hit. During all those hard times your videos truly helped me. Your positivity, reminding me there are great people who donate, you even showed me makeup looks i want to try when im able to afford makeup again. But most of all when i wanted to give up you gave me 15 minutes to escape reality and enjoy the moment

I think multiple things are happening here: 1. The parent company of Ipsy and BoxyCharm is needing to buy in bulk to maintain their pricing (this is normal). 2. Subscribers are dwindling so they are getting fewer brands who want to work with them, meaning the brands that are left are selling more of their stuff incorporating their older stuff. 3. Josh and Boxycharm are dying.

I had a "failed" aka "flunked"(that is what my city called him a "flunked dog) dog. He was an amazing dog but just didn't want to be a police k9 for some reason. He literally was the best dog, so well trained and loving. I think things happen for a reason and he was meant for me I have no idea why he flunked. But the police force's loss was my gain

As I pulled up, the drug sniffing German shepherd ran out of the tiny building, barking and dancing in happy circles, so excited to have company. The Customs agent disappointedly told me, “She’s in training and she isn’t going to make it. “ 😂😂
Since I cancelled my Ipsy and Boxycharm in April…there hasn’t been a single month that I has anything different then what I already have received! The only time I came close to feeling left out was when the Retro Natasha Denona palette was in the Boxyluxe and I never even got the that box…so it’s safe to say I haven’t shed a single tear!!!xoxoxo
That same exact OFRA pallet was just included in Boxycharm. I’m beyond let down by these companies (. Ipsy, boxycharm). Since they have become sister companies we as customers of both get monthly repeats. To say it’s a let down is an understatement. I have 2 separate subscriptions, I’d love to keep them; but neither company is fighting for my business.
I still remember when some kiddo crashes his atv in your yard outside your window during winter in one of your videos. It reminds of that movie "The Burbs". The teenagers just order pizza and people watch all the neighbors on the porch because they think it's more entertaining than the movies.

For KP try Head & Shoulders. Saw it on a message board about 7 years ago and it helps a lot. My arms improved +80% after one treatment. You don't have to do it very often. About 2-3 times a year. Careful about sunburn after the first time if your follicles are more clogged with keratin because that skin hasn't seen the light of day 😉

LOL morbid curiosity made me re-sub to Boxycharm! So far I'm not regretful. I got real tired real fast of the sample sizes from Ipsy. I don't think I'll ever re-sub to them.

When I was first getting Ipsy, back in 2013/2014, there was a month that they sent me a product they had already sent me before. I didn't care particularly, since it was a brush, but they sent out an email and apologized for the mixup to everyone this happened to. I don't know an actual number, but definitely a few! I remember people talking about it on the forums. Then, the next month, they sent us a bonus product to "make up" for it. How the mighty have fallen.

Ao I think I've figured out ipsy with the pamphlets they have a se ft of bags they have them printed for and when they run out of a certain item and fill up a bag with a different option. They put the generic one in.
I got Ipsy for a couple of years and got one nail polish. I prefer nail polish to most makeup items and only ever got the one. Even when every other unboxing I saw for that month would have a na polish. I swear they give you exactly what you don't want. I can't do eyeliner to save my life but I got one every other bag. I'd down vote every eyeliner and always say I wanted nail products and never got them.
if you want a lived-in lip look, burberry did a makeup tutorial video years ago where all you need to do is smudge out the edges until it fades into the skin and isn't a harsh line and i do it when i wear lipstick and somehow it works???

I remember people talking about it on the forums. Then, the next month, they sent us a bonus product to "make up" for it.

I have that makeup headband still, I love it and you can wash it. It’s perfect lol. It also seems like mine came with a serum or something… idk I may be remembering wrong but I know I was more excited about the headband than the serum.

I got Ipsy for a couple of years and got one nail polish. I prefer nail polish to most makeup items and only ever got the one. Even when every other unboxing I saw for that month would have a na polish. I swear they give you exactly what you don't want. I can't do eyeliner to save my life but I got one every other bag. I'd down vote every eyeliner and always say I wanted nail products and never got them.

if you want a lived-in lip look, burberry did a makeup tutorial video years ago where all you need to do is smudge out the edges until it fades into the skin and isn't a harsh line and i do it when i wear lipstick and somehow it works???
The spots on the make up, I had them too in my bag, i think its just moisture.
