They need to remake this movie. It's been almost 27 years I think it's due for one. I think The Postman would fare better as a TV series, and if they could blend the book version with the movie version I think it would be great. I vote Ethan Hawke as Gordon Krantz, aka the Postman, Josh Brolin as Gen. Bethlehem and Daisy Ridley as Abby. I don't know I'm just thinking out loud.
That's a great idea. I think a lot of the epic's that Kevin Costner makes (especially back in the day) could use a mini-series type of revival. enough run time to allow an audience to really inhabit the world
