im an artist now but 15 years ag I decided to start my own dog care business and one of the things I did was use yelp to view the negative complaints customers would leave and I would message dog walkers in other cities and ask them for advise. I was able to have a good life while I figured out my artistic future. hearing Sam Walton talk about how he would research people and companies to learn made me feel like I wow I have some of that, maybe I could be very successful in my own way at what I love to do. thank you great episode.
My grandfather from Memphis TN built what was, at the time, one of the largest wrapping paper companies in the world, Cleo Wrap, but he always joked that his claim to fame was that he loaned Sam Walton money back in the day.
