Me and my girlfriend just started playing this game (20 minutes ago) and we spent the first 15 minutes trying this jump the next 5 minutes me calming her down.
Yep! Both characters are identical except for what gadgets they get, and their model/audioclips, so anything that is to do with general movement is the same between them
