Morissette brings me to chuch with her genuine emotional way of singing as she puts her self into character every lyric of the song. She genuinely communicating with our Creator, Saviour, deliverer, provider of all our needs and the Father of the Heaven and Earth. What a deep meaningful gospel song, it touches my spirit as a Catholic Christian believer of a LIVING GOD🙏🙏🏼🙏🏻
Dave...her fiancé, whom did the video of this, is a devote Christian, his parents, Missionaries that run a orphanage for forgotten and abused children, has helped Mori embrace her faith more. Gary V wanted a female arrangement of this song he composed and was written by Freddie Santos, years ago. Freddie passed last Dec. so Gary felt Morissette would do this justice.

I truly believe (through my research) that Miss Morissette Amon is the Greatest Pop Singer Alive and the Greatest Pop Singer of her Generation. Whenever I listen to Miss Morissette sing I know that I am in the presence of Greatness.
I also find it incredibly impossible NOT to fall in love with her and you can interpret that any way you want.

Music speaks to my soul and this song definitely did. I am a believer and I still have these questions and ask Him for forgiveness daily. She felt every word of this song and it showed. I have had it on repeat since I found and it still makes me cry. A wonderful song sung by a beautiful voice and a beautiful person.
For me, definitely the most emotionally impacting song of hers to date. One doesn't have to be a believer or Christian to ask questions or seek guidance like in this song. Mori shows her vulnerability here, and also her versatility of styles and genres. She can do playful like in Ain't Been Done, inspirational like in Phoenix, pop diva like in Fly Like a Bird and sultry jazzy like in Moon River/Usahay. Thanks for your continued support of Asia's Phoenix, keep 'um coming!

This was 1st done by Gary valenciano in a musical called ( name a new ), lyrics we're written by Freddie Santos who sadly passed away just before Christmas 2020, Gary specifically re-arranged the song especially for Morissette as a tribute to Freddie, the 25th anniversary of the song SHINE which was sung by the great Regine Velasquez has been resurrected especially for Morissette.

This song was originally sung as part of a musical called First Name in the late 80’s. It was written by Freddie Santos and arranged and originally sung by Gary Valenciano. Gary rearranged this song for Morissette to sing as this musical was revived recently due to Freddie Santos passing in December 2020. It was the first time Gary had rearranged one of his songs so that another artist could sing it. The song is about Jesus Christ of course. Morissette and her fiancé Dave are devout Christians.
