Y'all are talking about ice, regular old ice, not black ice. Apparently you don't know what black ice is? So let me inform you, BLACK ICE looks like a clear dry road, as in you cannot see it, and have no idea that it is there. When you figure it out, often you realize that you have been on it for the last 10 miles and it is absolutely terrifying. You don't have any black ice in Houston, you have regular old not even a 30mn delay of school ice, and a population that is not used to driving in it. Take it easy, slow down, and stay off that pedal in the middle... sorry, for most of you it's the pedal on the left. Drive as if you have no brakes, and attempt to stop the same way.
@@toosense The hardest hit areas yesterday weren't even on ERCOT Port Arthur area got much more then Houston........we're not on ERCOT We're connected with the rest of AMERICA

Are you sure a car "slipped"?
Come on summer with its 103° temperatures.
What!!!!?
Agreed I'm so over the cold
this is hyped to cause Reliant to gouge prices
ERCOT did well because only a small portion of TEXAS had snow
With hardly any wind conditions
Yes indeed
Of course, our system wasn’t built for arctic conditions.
