Hey Greg I have been member for about 5 years at the St.Augustine club and I agree with everything you said.Friday,Saturday and Sunday is more difficult to get a boat. They used to have trolling motors but customers would damage them in shallow water.
Raving about the club that’s taking care of you is great. You spoke very highly of them. I think you did them a disservice about the trolling motors… Do you know how inexpensive they are? Less than a monthly club payment. Consider gifting them one! Great “thank you” gift and hopefully they put some more on other boats later on. P.S (Suggest they put the gifted trolling motor on the one your in 😁😁!)
Also when you try and reserve at a different club location it is very very difficult to get a boat. If you do get a boat you can only book in that club location 4 times a year😢
Was wondering about those that want to watch the sunset, do you have to be back at a certain hour? It all sounds good, I've owned several sailboats at marinas through the years and I just can't do it anymore. Too crowded on the weekends for me. Thank you for this informative video.
Hi. For weekend warriors, I think your review focused on getting same day reservation. How difficult is getting a weekend reservation if done 1-2 weeks in advance? Thanks!
Hi Jose. In most cases you can get a boat a week or two out for weekends. Of course, there are many variables but if you plan in advance you should be good most of the time. If you talk to Bill, Jacksonville/St Augustine Sales Director, please mention my channel. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks Greg
I have a question regarding blood on the boat from fish. Does the club ever have an issue with this or do they clean it without any complaints or extra charges?
Depends on the program you choose. One time initiation fee between $3000-$7000 approximately then about $350 a month. I don’t represent or work for them. Reach out to Bill Edinger he is the director and tell him you saw my review. He will do what he can for you. Thanks

They don’t allow them on the boats. I was just giving a real opinion of pros and cons. I wish trolling motors were allowed but they are not.

I h have been able to book at another club 4 of the 5 times I have tried. Still need to get one for the keys!

Yes boats have to be back at Sunset so makes that part difficult.
Thank you so much for the honest review and telling the pros and cons
I love the club and can’t wait to get trolling motors on them! 😂😂😂

They also have a very good special running right now you can ask him about.

Obviously they want you to do what you can to minimize blood. But I have never had an issue from them about it. No extra charges.
That said, I had boats for over 40 years and would never buy a boat again. Boat club for me👍🏻
Can you take the boats offshore for fishing?
They have offshore boats that you can take 25 miles from the marina, so yes. But only the offshore boats.
For how long can you take it out?
Sunrise to sunset
how much is your membership $$
I am only a member. I am not affiliated with the club. Reach out to Bill he is the sales director. Let him know you saw my review. Thanks
What’s the price
