I agree with your comment about reading the manuals. In fact I'll bet a lot of Spark owners think the little stack of booklets that came with it are the manuals and don't realize DJI has a very detailed manual for download and are even on the second version here: www.dji.com/spark/info#downloads

(One crashed, broken beyond repair and one flew away). I vowed I'd never buy another drone but I have and I feel far more confident than last time mainly due to your instructionals. Had my maiden flight today which was short but successful. Looking forward to more adventures. I'm a little nervous of landing the Spark on my hand as I'm a guitarist by trade!!!
Thanks as always. Been lucky with my Spark indoors. When it is in Atti mode, it is absolutely impressive hovering in place. Does not vary one bit from the place it is hovering. Funny about your lens. I had a very minor crash last week and the Spark came down sideways and hit a sidewalk. Two of my lenses popped off but did not break. When I put them back on, they were a tiny bit loose. I was afraid they would come off during a future flight. So, I put the tiniest dribble of glue on the outer rim and both are fine now.
The front LEDs are red during flight (so not the back Activity LEDS which are covered in the video). They will turn off if a video is recording. They will turn off for 1 second and turn back on if a photo is taken. This is good to know if you are flying with only the controller (not paired with a phone).
I learned a hard way do not press RTH when you’re flying it in the house. It goes for the ceiling and stays there till the battery runs down or something.

Hello ... I almost lost my drone ... I installed a flashligth on my drone belly baehind the sensor and as soon as it went up to 10 meters sensor reading error appeared ... went up to 500 m without stopping and only went down because it lost contact ... I tried again and it happened again before taking off ... the 4 lights turned red ... what do you think it could be? Battery Magnetic field ? Regards
great video. One thing to never forget is to not have the props on when doing any testing or pretty much anywhere near you. any interference and that thing may have taken your nose off.

can you help me out please im having gps disconnect problems my spark cannot take off once i power on i get the red green and yellow light but it remain all red all four led stay red without any gps signal i did fireware refresh on the aircrafr but still having the same problem with the gps signal
I just got my Spark and updated the firmware for the RC/AC and I still have 4 solid LED's. The app doesn't seem to show any errors that I can see. I may try the DJI Assistant 2 and load the firmware that way to my RC/AC. Nice video btw.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how do I get satellite Towers/Connection on my DJI Spark. It works when I'm just using the phone but when I connect the controller I only get regular GPS no satellite I was hoping you could help me out. I don't know anyone else with a DJI Spark. And since I watch all your videos you're always talking about drones so I figured you could help out😊. Thank you

What does it mean when all 4 lights are green during flight? This is a new spark through DJI Care Refresh since I crashed the last one. That one never displayed all green during flight.
If my spark already paired with RC yesterday, but today I want just use my spark with gesture control without rc and phone, am I be able to to it? And unfortunately I'm in geo safely zone (nearby airport).

I have 2 Sparks both fly fine (my question is this)? if your drone is flying fine; why would you want to update? I have neve updated either one of my drones although I keep getting the message to update (which I ignore), why fix something if its not broke????????????????

Kloo Gee can you confirm that I don't have issues... are the red front lights suppose to go out when you are recording video. Yesterday, I was flying my Spark and the red front lights were out (causing me to have issues trying to decide which what it was pointing my visually looking at the spark. While I could still see on the screen which way it was pointing... I couldn't visually see the red lights on front. Today, it was doing the same thing until I realized when I turned off video record... the red light came back on. Can you confirm that during video record the red front lights are suppose to turn off? Thanks, Kyle

hi have a spark that was in crash so i replace the camera/ gimbal only but when i power it on the front leds flashes red and go off and gimbal roll axis tilts to the left looking for any answer of what might be wrong . try adjusting this in the app but its not leveling

My spark red leds in front don’t fixes on. I don’t know what’s wrong. The firmware is 0000900.

Why can't you switch from remote RC one day - smartphone and back to remote RC without linking with the smartphone DJI go 4 app?
