I bought one and discovered that it doesn't come with a power supply. What a rip off. It was already over priced and now I have no way to use it. It also doesn't come with instructions. Mine is going back. screw them
Wow. Just. Incredible. I own over 20 amps and 50 pedals and could never get this close to Sir Tony's inimitable sound on the first 6 albums. Great playing as well. My next pedal for sure!
@Scott Williams Theoretically, you are right. But I don't have a Laney Supergroup head or a vintage modified Dallas Rangemaster like Tony. So I did get one of these cool pedals!
I got my Sabbra Cadabra pedal three weeks ago. It is absolutely amazing. Fantastic job by the designers. Rendered all other pedals obsolete. I mainly use it in combination with my Orange TH-100 and a 2012 Gibson SG '61 Reissue. I will put a short review together shortly.
An amazing pedal that is very responsive to pick attack and VERY noticeable tonal differences when playing with the "Presence" and "Range" knobs. This IS ....Sabbath in a box. Worth every cent.
Excellent playing by Howard as always. I own this pedal and it absolutely captures that Sabbath tone. Nothing else on the market comes anywhere as close. If you play Sabbath you need this pedal!
Who ever hit dislike is not a sabbath fan at all this video was as good as it gets great work I really hope to get one of these Calabria pedals man wicked
That fucking vibrato is KILLER man he was such a talented guitar player and build. My Talisman has never left my board. I run 18v to it, really opened it up.
Great sounding pedal just ordered my one been looking for this for years, tried to get iommi tone from distortion pedals never happy but this looks the business!
I, too, have struggled to get Tony's sound. Here is what I did. I got a '61 SG reissue. Next, I built a Rangemaster Treble Booster with a ton of mods. Finally, I bought the Tony Iommi Laney Head which feeds a 4x12 MESA cabinet with Vintage '30's. I would have just bought this pedal had I know it existed. Damn.
Thanks for your comment Harry! The video was really fun to make. Just an excuse to get out of the breadboard for a minute ;) and try to do justice to Sabbath \m/
The difference in sound between p90s in an sg and the early 2000’s Iommi sg with crosses n humbuckers is immense. I keep latter for Dio onwards era stuff. Fab video
I’ll probably own this bad boy one day but I have to shout out to the Talisman running at 18 volts. The greatest reverb pedal ever, studio classic tones and can be so subtle too. Incredible company!!!
you guys have some seriously awesome influences. i already own some of your pedals and the line up will continue to grow! next stop, Topanga and i aint talkin that cute lil girl we all loved from the 90s! THANKS MR.BREAD!
Got one on Reverb for $120. So far, played it through my Orange Crush 35rt (clean channel), my Mini Laney Supergroup with it's "Drive" disengaged (a 2x3" 6W Mini amp), through my NuX Mighty Lite Mk2 with all the effects blocks turned off up to a Laney Cabinet IR (since the pedal has an "amp" in it, the "Supergroup replica" , and in the send/return of my NuX MG30 amp modeler/FX Processor with it's amp model block turned off also, so that the pedal is straight into a Laney 4x12'" IR. Sounds great through them all. I even tried straight into the Orange's FX return, again, since this pedal has an" amp" in it, with an EQ pedal in between since there really isn't one on the Sabbra Cadabra. Of course, set with full Treble & Mids with bass all the way down ala Iommi 😉 Sounded fine that way even though it's advised to go in front of a clean channel of the amp. Pretty sure I've played way too many Sabbath covers since I got this pedal 😂
Update.... I have found the best way to use my Sabbra with my Vox AC30C2 and it is absolutely ridiculously good. Running my SG Standard or my Les Paul, I can control this pedal with my pick attack. It's outrageous. You gotta spend some time with one.
Aleys Ludwig I always jump the channels on my Vox AC30. When I use the Sabbra, I dial back the preamp volumes almost all of the way. I run the master volume at about 50%. But I basically run the Vox as clean as possible then hit it with the Sabbra. I get the best tone that way.
This pedal through my jcm 800 reissue also sounds like 80"s Sabbath. Mob rules, hevean hell. With gain in unison with amp. Wow! Amazing pedal! One of THEE best distortion pedals ever owned that actually has pizzaz!
That's a great suggestion! The Boston sound in a pedal would be awesome. Back in the day, by sheer luck (or accident) i was able to nail the Boston sound using a Gibson Les Paul Custom '56 reissue through a Hiwatt Custom 100 head in the brilliant channel and 2 Sound City 4-12 cabs. I remember my jaw hitting the floor , i was that amazed.
One thing I take from this guy's videos. A. he is an awesome guitar player. B. the petals he demos are quite good and C. that little Princeton reverb he plays through is fucking amazing I went out and bought one and it kicks ass . Absolutely the best little app you can buy for playing at home
I bought one about a month ago. Best petal I’ve ever had. Couldn’t put my guitar down and I still cant😂. Running it with my Gibson Sg tribute (ik its not a p90 but the tone is still beautiful) and a marshall code 50. Its fucking sick
I gotta say you guys did an amazing job on these pedals, and especially the Sabra cadabra. That pedal is the fucking business! I'm an Ehx snob and just picked up a re issued op amp big muff and LTD Viper 400 and immediately dropped it down to C#. My Canyon reverb mode helps get me close, but not like these mad pedals. I'd love to grab a Sabra Cadabra, but doubtful anyone round here carries them, and the all to do hassle with ordering . . . .
Here's a couple questions (for another HEY HOWARD): 1) What are your influences as a guitar player? 2) What other iconic sounds in a box would you love to create?
Hello Howard! I really appreciate the Sabbra Cadabra but I already have a really great Rangemaster booster clone and an amp with a great clean sound and huge headroom. So I know this is about your pedal, but what could you recommend to add to this rig to get similar tone?
I bought one. It is as amazing as it sounds in the video. First song I played on it was War Pigs, couldn't put my guitar down after that.
718heavyduty
I bought one too but not received yet.. What is your amp ? I'm playing on a line 6 amplifi 150 abd hoping have the same tone..
I bought one and discovered that it doesn't come with a power supply. What a rip off. It was already over priced and now I have no way to use it. It also doesn't come with instructions. Mine is going back. screw them
You can put a battery in it
@@JawTooth oh dear, spoiled brat, yes ? why should it come with a power supply ? Does a Boss pedal comes with a power supply ? No it doesn't.
Olivier Malhomme I don’t use mine. I’m selling it. It roars like a jet engine when I’m not playing guitar. I do Sabbath tributes and I can’t use it
Wow. Just.
One of the best guitar related purchases I've ever made, a must for any Iommic disciple.
It's Tony in a box.
RIG RIG RIG Gear Demo They should put out a Dick Dale pedal and call it "Dick in a Box"
I really want the Catalinbread dick in a box lol
+Max Jones this a 1000 times this like the sound of the first dual showman cranked leo fender built for him
Chromaesthesia so an yngwie tone? Or better yet, Ritchie Blackmore.
IGA YO

The closest thing I've ever heard to Tony's early sound, and it looks amazing too. A+++
Excellent playing by Howard as always. I own this pedal and it absolutely captures that Sabbath tone. Nothing else on the market comes anywhere as close. If you play Sabbath you need this pedal!
I just picked up the Sabbra and it is probably my favorite dirtbox among the dozen or so I have. Great job, guys!
Probably the best pedal demo Ive heard..
I still need this thing!!! Damn it!!
Great sounding pedal just ordered my one been looking for this for years, tried to get iommi tone from distortion pedals never happy but this looks the business!
TheYjmfan Your wait is over!! :D Glad to be of service!

Scored one on Amazon about 2 weeks ago. I really like this one very cool.Whoever invented this one is definitely a sound wizard!
I got one and love it, but your playing deserves high praise, too! I actually listen to your demo videos for the music.
Excellent demo as usual. Picked one of these up first chance I had and it does live up to the hype, just excellent as are all things Catalinbread.
SO SO nice! Can't say enough to do this justice, so I'll just shut the hell up and watch it again.
The cinematography was great in this video!
sounds amazing - a Geezer pedal next please!!!!!
What a demooo!!!!!! Congrats for take the time doing this production.
Howard, you do such a great job on these fantastic CB pedals.
I love this Black Sabbath Sabbra Cadabra demo!
Thanks for your comment Harry! The video was really fun to make. Just an excuse to get out of the breadboard for a minute ;) and try to do justice to Sabbath \m/
I have that exact same strap. Nice strap.
Thank You 4 this video I just bought the Sabra Cadabra pedal. Can wait to receive it

5:27 is savage. Almost as savage as the sabbra pedal. That thing is awesome
+Drew M Thanks for your comment :)
..also, I want those shoes, 0:16
you guys have some seriously awesome influences. i already own some of your pedals and the line up will continue to grow! next stop, Topanga and i aint talkin that cute lil girl we all loved from the 90s! THANKS MR.BREAD!
How awesome!

Perfect pedal. Perfect print. All right!
This is a great vid to show off a great pedal.
U guys sure know how to Find Tone. Nailed it. A Sweet Les Paul Special too.
Lovin' that sound for decades! Thanks I'm all over it and off for my axe!
Thank you for this GREAT Sabbath-vibe clip.
God has led me to this video I swear!! I feel like I have won the lottery!!
When the music started I actually thought it was the og studio recording, spot on
I have a Sabbra. It can be a little touchy to get it dialed in to my amp. But it sounds great when you get it right.
Update....
I have found the best way to use my Sabbra with my Vox AC30C2 and it is absolutely ridiculously good. Running my SG Standard or my Les Paul, I can control this pedal with my pick attack. It's outrageous. You gotta spend some time with one.
Great! do you Using in a clean channel or in the top boost one?
Aleys Ludwig I always jump the channels on my Vox AC30. When I use the Sabbra, I dial back the preamp volumes almost all of the way. I run the master volume at about 50%. But I basically run the Vox as clean as possible then hit it with the Sabbra. I get the best tone that way.
Damn that sounds pretty spot on. You guys do some incredible work. Now I need this pedal.
Unleashed Musik Productions Thank you! :)
Definitely one of the cooler guitar pedal videos I've seen.
This pedal through my jcm 800 reissue also sounds like 80"s Sabbath. Mob rules, hevean hell. With gain in unison with amp. Wow! Amazing pedal! One of THEE best distortion pedals ever owned that actually has pizzaz!

Will getting this pedal soon!!!!!!! Nails Early Sabbath tone!!!!!!!
Damn, that's one awesome pedal !!! I got to get me one !!!!
Some (now legal) SWEET LEAF!!
PLEASE MAKE A PEDAL FOR THE "BOSTON" GUITAR SOUND. GREAT JOB TO CATLINBREAD FOR MAKING FINE PEDALS!
Rockman.
Your les Paul looks quite similar to sir Tony’s SG I love it
One thing I take from this guy's videos. A. he is an awesome guitar player. B. the petals he demos are quite good and C. that little Princeton reverb he plays through is fucking amazing I went out and bought one and it kicks ass . Absolutely the best little app you can buy for playing at home

Do you know if it can do the newer sabbath sound like the mob rules or have you tired? Id like to get one thanks and glad your having fun
I need this sooooo badly!!!
God, that tone is spot on!
It’s so wild how they do all this through a Princeton on every video 🤘
Best boutique pedal company IMO. Wish their main creator didn't die... Such a tragedy
I've been LOL'ing for days at the "no, not finger tips" bit toward the end. Catalinbread 'til I die because of that.
This is the best demo video of this pedal ! Thx!
Hello Catalinbread, Great Vidéo about the Black Sabbath Tones * * * Your Pedals are Really Good * * *
Cheers from Catalunya, Spain W. :)
Dude you nailed it!!!
I gotta say you guys did an amazing job on these pedals, and especially the Sabra cadabra. That pedal is the fucking business! Your pedals are really amazing. Absolutely nailed it once again.
Excellent video
Here's a couple questions (for another HEY HOWARD):
1) What are your influences as a guitar player?
2) What other iconic sounds in a box would you love to create?
Spot On! cheers for uploading 👍
This video gave me goosebumps!!!
great sound !
Sounds awesome!
Buying!
Sounds Awesome, Where did you get the backing tracks?
I was getting ready to hate on this video, but it ended up sounding really good!
Gosh, I NEED one
Damn, this is close to "the" sound. Well done!
P90 is crucial, a Dallas range master or a treble booster similar to that is a must.
You nailed it sir!
Shakespeare could not have made it so sweet, "Sirens created using..." I knew I had to have this pedal.
Nice touch with the grave yard!!
Just so good thank you
That’s some bad ass playing! The Master of the Dark Riff would be pleased. 🔥🤘🤘🔥🤘🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘
Great! Great! Great!
Nailed it!
holy shit, the RAH is identical to Jimmy Page's live sound and this is Iommi's tone dialled right in here too, amazing sounds!
Dude, this video is awesome. Great guitar tone.
2:01 Caraca, é o Away de petrópolis tocando. :v
Great ! Thx.
Holy fuck that sounds good
Approved by Jaw Tooth!
Awesome ❤
How about a video on how you created that siren sound with those pedals lol
This video sold a million pedals \m/
Very cool new to the channel
Who the fuck didn't like this??
7 Kanye Waste fans & counting....
impressive!
I love the VOL4 easter egg
Hello Howard! I really appreciate the Sabbra Cadabra but I already have a really great Rangemaster booster clone and an amp with a great clean sound and huge headroom. So I know this is about your pedal, but what could you recommend to add to this rig to get similar tone?
Anyone know what he’s playing at around 1:16?
Wasp/behind the wall of sleep
