I think it would be nice if the character animations handling the gun had a bit more of inertia/weight feeling. Also, I think the classic animation style, where the gun point of aiming feels like its always locked at the center of the screen, doesn't suit this game well.

what an amazing game...the enemies have infinite ammo, bullseye marksmanship, they see you thru the objects etc meanwhile you progress thru this "realistic" (LOL) game by going head-on towards the enemy with your only save game point being more and more away from you as you progress....sounds perfect to me! Oh and let's not forget, the most important part of this game, one that everyone seems to be most impressed with - one developer. It's so important to me. When I play my vidya, the most important thing I want to know is how many devs worked on it. Wow, only one dev? Such a great game. No developers whatsoever would be even better.
you seem to forget its DEMO a demonstration of what the game will be. the ai will be better later this is just a demonstration of the Concept and core design mechanics of the game. IE this is a game DEEPLY DEEPLY in development. also save points will be more expansive later in the game more attics and such around the place.

Have you ever watched someone streaming gameplay? This is basically no different.
all of the symbols in the bottom left follow along with the stalker unaverse like normal

This is only a very early version, it's insane how a game takes time to develop and become better, right?
