Why the hell the AA's are not that devastating compared to the actual game that I'm in?
look at the HP of the planes
Maybe he use full planes defence on captain skills and the plane hp on ship module
This CV's planes have insane health. That is part of the gimmick. That is what makes this CV so OP. If you avoid flak (which is not too difficult to do), you can fly through the AA of about 4 ships without a problem and get at least 3 guaranteed drops.
I know this ship is op as all hell. I thought I was a half decent CV player. But after watching this guy play I'm convinced I am a complete ass of a CV driver

Anyone else notice how, routinely, he was dropping his torpedoes with the target well within the arming distance, yet the torpedoes always armed in time to detonate on the ship? What's up with that? I thought inside the non colored portion of the arc the torpedoes would not arm in time to detonate.
Its a replay bug. He drops before, but the replays allways shows a misscalibration with the real time gameplay.
And to think he managed to secure a win for his team even with their Alsace basically doing nothing in the back of the map for like 95% of the match.

Well... it's a steel ship... it's supposed to be brokenly OP. This thing is the same price point as the gato and other busted steel ships
So when he's in attack formation and he goes through a wall of flack his planes don't take any damage, yet when i do that my planes disintegrate. Did something change between now and the video?
FDR’s planes have jacked HP, like a full squadron has 55K total HP. Since most ships have mid AA, it takes a long time to shoot down a few, unless you’re playing a ship with high AA damage, like high tier Dutch cruisers, or group up with other ships to overlap AA bubbles. Flak does deal a lot of damage, but great FDR players, even other CV players, can simply dodge the flak bursts to avoid the extra damage to planes.
So all in all, FDR has flying tanks

Well actually you can’t buy it for money, it is only available for steel, which you only get if you win in ranked mode. The torps and bombs aren’t that broken, the problem is that the planes have a lot of hp and also the amount of projectiles…But all around the planes are really slow which is kinda making them balanced
@@aris4 not exactly. During the NY you can buy special lootboxes. Aside from all else, they can give you a lot of steel. Yep, you are literaly throwing your money in the monitor but hey, thats how i got mine FDR. Good bisness. Nothing personal

How do you close the torpedo scope? Or does it do it automatically as you get close?
just wait and only use mouse to aim, if you move aircraft left or right(a lot) it will increase torp scope which is not a great thing. if you accel(w) or decrease speed(s) torp scope will decrease slower. so basically if ur on attack phase, only use mouse to aim if it not critical angle(like u cant hit if only use mouse) single hit is better tham nothing right:D i hope this helpful
@@sdi1416 Thats correct, for all CV's except FDR, where the turning has no penelty. Atleast no significant one.

that ship is fucking crazy
There is a reason why it's the most expensive steel ship... It's hella fun if you can get a field of noobs to farm, but the planes are so slow that a French DD can outrun them... Basically, everything on this ship is two times slower. Every plane shot down takes 2 minutes to replace, it takes half a minute between attack runs, cruising speed is so slow that if you hide in the usual places you barely get any attacks off during a match.. but you can't get any closer because it's only outspotted by a super cv while it's on fire...
