Yasuhito Saito is such an underrated VGM composer. His work on the Rayxanber games alone is quite an impressive resume, not to mention the 4th Unit and Psychic Detective series.
I remember i was 14 with a Turbografx CD but not much to play. i started calling shops that sold PC Engine games and the guy ion the phone said Rayxanber 2 just came in. Its really hard but has a killer soundtrack. Needless to say, it is one of the best shooters i ever played

The bass is slammin. Perfect audio balance. One of the most professionally constructed soundtracks ever.

Stage 01 - 03:20 is the best!!!!! it is the same music as stage 1 of Rayxanber 1 and the ending music of Rayxanber III!!! AWESOME GAME
Stage 2 is simply brilliant i do love a lot of the shooter soundtracks on the pc engine!

タイトル画面曲の出だしの、変にテンションが低いおっさん声の
「るぁいざんばぁ～（イエー）」で軽くずっこける感じが一回りして気に入ってたのを思い出しますｗ
逆転確率7800万分の1は伊達じゃない！wとにかく武装が貧弱でしたね。しかし、曲とグラフィックが最高でクリアこそ出来なかったですがヤリ込んだ記憶あります。IIIのエンディングでⅡの1面の曲流れた時は涙もんでした！

ゲーム自体は自機の攻撃力が弱すぎて最悪のバランスでしたが、画面やBGMは最高でした。
当時、意地で 1度だけクリアしましたが、ラスボスだけは PAUSE を連打しながらでないと弾幕を避け切れませんでした。
攻撃力低すぎて自分にはまともに遊べない（笑 しかし、音楽だけはCD垂れ流しで毎日聞いていたなぁ。
