The Go-Gos were a very underrated band, IMO. They hold the particular distinction of being the first and only all-female band to write their own material and play their own instruments to have a #1 album on the Billboard charts. They were recently inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame, too. :)
Glad to see you experience more Go-Go’s. It’s hard not to like them. Their songs and stage presence are easy and infectious. A far cry from their very early, very punk-based roots. 100%.
