Yeah, for real! Their first three albums are all pretty much perfect. Especially Sound of Silver. Love this band. Check out the song Losing My Edge! Also their song Yeah is maybe the most intensely danceable song they have.
So, LCD Soundsystem is a band I never got into. I'd been hearing their name for years when they were at the height of their fame. I have listened to a few songs which I enjoy and left it at that. I'm glad I decided to watch this because I found another song of theirs I like! I'm going to listen to more of their stuff. Thanks for reacting 🙂 Also, makes me think of The Knife a *little bit*. Their song Silent Shout is great.
Since you like this song, Kid Cudi straight up used this beat in a song with Chip tha Ripper called "All Talk". I'm not asking for you to react to it, but on your free time you should check it out because Cudi and Chip really do it justice. Peace
Anytime I have a horrible day this song makes me feel so much better. I literally dance myself clean of all the problems of the day in my living room, only in my underwear. My neighbors might be annoyed but God it feels amazing.
LCD Soundsytem is a rare and sort of unique experience, both recorded and live. Nice pick Ryan! Also, great reaction!! (I love that "...you are an actual jerk" line too) And also "Call the Police" by this band is a banger.
I get excited whenever I see someone new listen to lcd and this song in paticular. One of the best bands ever, and easily one of the best shows I've ever seen.
my favorite lcd soundsystem song is "i can change" but dance yrself clean is definitely up there too. great reaction man 👌🏽 also i love the note taking during the reaction
LCD Soundsystem is incredible. Dance and rock. genreless. Or maybe multi-genred. Seen them multiple times and they are great live especially this song and All My Friends.
Only just got around to checking this out and heard your 15 minute cutoff. Laughed when I thought about LCD's track 45:33. Maybe not one to react to but definitely worth checking out if you enjoyed this.
Brilliant LCD soundsystem...all there stuff great in the club bar & brilliant Live.......definitely recognisable...Great Request!!!!! Brilliant when KICKS IN!!!! ;)) SUBTLE THEN(glad u turned up volume just in time Teeeze) BOOOOOOOOooooooM....Dirty Beats....what it's all about !!! They love the cattle bell this band hahaha...non triangle located
Dig the Beavis and Butthead Poster in the background, lol. They brought that show back and there are new episodes, just as good as before. Anyway, great reaction. Keep trucking dude!
The man on the cover, James Murphy, is wholly responsible for what you just heard. Like Prince, Mike Oldfield, Tom Scholz, Tame Impala and Mac Miller, LCD Soundsystem is typically a one-man band in the studio
Decent song in 2010 but its luster is long faded. Geez, the intro buildup is so long I often skip it if I even listen to it anymore. It’s like Dire Straits “Money for Nothing,” even Sirius radio skips that intro cause it’s too damn long and boring.
"tryin to turn it up a lil bit. seems a lil low." Wish you could see our smiles.
Timed it to perfection checking volume ha
I spit out my lunch I just laughed so hard.
Gets em every time! Love that drop.
React to the music video for “oh baby” by lcd sound system next! Very moving.
@@andrewruhloff2046 that song gives me chills every time ❤️
Right at that moment I’m like “oh he’s about to get a turn up” 🤣
Def one of the best tunes ever!
"My headphone seens a little low" - famous last words
hahahahaha
One of the best drops ever
The*
The one of the best drops ?
I've never heard this before; I like it! It is really giving me Talking Heads vibes!
You should check out the album. It’s awesome! All my Friends, and I Can Change are better songs off this album, in my opinion.
@@shammycat3538 Will do!
@@jacqueline4514 I think All My Friends is off the previous album, Sound of Silver, which for me may be their best album
Yeah, for real! Their first three albums are all pretty much perfect. Especially Sound of Silver. Love this band. Check out the song Losing My Edge! Also their song Yeah is maybe the most intensely danceable song they have.
@@JayPhonomancer I didn’t know that. Now I have to check out Sound of Silver.
This song is a light show assault live, its fantastic!

Yes, those electric synth bits that come in totally remind me of Silent Shout! The overall vibe is definitely different though 😁
"I can Change" is very good if you like this song. Also "All My Friends" and "Us vs Them" are two really great ones
GTA got me into them
one of my favorite bands some other great songs to check out by them are "Home" "All of my Friends" and "Us vs Them"
Totally reminds me of The Talking Heads
Talking Heads & Tom Tom Club
Used to request this song all the time at the club back in the day and the whole place would pop off when the drop hit!
Who else wants to dance themselves clean right now?! I’m craving dancing with a bunch of other sweaty humans right now lmao😩
samesies
This song always connects with my soul and makes me feel sad yet better at the same time.
Did that last night

I got to see them at their “last” show at MSG in 2011. It was a religious experience.
Great song and fun band to dance to. Gotta try "Daft punk is coming to my house"
Anytime I have a horrible day this song makes me feel so much better. I literally dance myself clean of all the problems of the day in my living room, only in my underwear. My neighbors might be annoyed but God it feels amazing.
That first drop is the first time I yelled out ''WTF''.

You really need to watch the live version from their “last” show. It’s fucking epic. One of those rare times live is better then studio
why the qoutes?
@@diamondsprince cause they ended up playing more shows but it was supposed to be their last
I discovered that live version a few months ago, had never heard of LCD before. It’s my favourite song of all time now!
@@sp4nrssame!!
I think you'd dig their song "Home" as well
Please do "North American Scum" by this same band. I only know it because it was featured in the greatest show ever created, "The Affair". Thanks
Im going to see LCD live today with my son. He grew up on this too and we can’t wait!
LCD soundsystem - Home
Great tune
Took me to the 2.51 mark then I got into this one! Then that hard beat just happened and I was YEAH that's better !! 🔥
Had to see them live because of this song. Seats were pretty far back at the Hollywood bowl but worth it! And yeah yeahs opened for them 😁
my favorite lcd soundsystem song is "i can change" but dance yrself clean is definitely up there too. great reaction man 👌🏽 also i love the note taking during the reaction
LOL, this is staged AF, you obviously heard the song at least once before
Love the beat it came in with & continued with. Only thing I couldn’t hear the lyrics for the first half of the song , volume was too low 🤷🏻♀️
That’s just the song it’s really quite and Lofi on purpose
@@catherinecolwell8939 Hi, okay thanks. My first time hearing it... I thought it was something wrong on my end. I really liked the song though ☮️
Now listen to the live at Madison Square Garden version and have your mind thoroughly blown
Losing my edge - the best one
LCD Soundsystem is incredible. Dance and rock. genreless. Or maybe multi-genred.
Seen them multiple times and they are great live especially this song and All My Friends.
Pure dance chaos
"had to turn it up a little bit...I think my headphones are......[music hits hard]"

Great channel, many different tastes, McGee is an ambassador of sound.
Watch them live, didn’t need any drugs or booze and I was instantly high!

Even if this song was those 2 bass notes ONLY it would be legendary lol.
Looking at the video I honestly can’t understand why the song has so many dislikes on RUclips…
If this doesn't remind you of Talking Heads then I am smh. 😖
“I wasn’t expecting that, when the track did escalate…” 💀❤️
I'm not sure why this song has so many dislikes.
I love this kind of songs. I love the Indie Music!!
I thought you were on your phone and then you said you were just taking notes with a literal pen. That alone earned you a new sub!
Banging
you should react to this live in MSG, it’s amazing
Possibly the best band of the past 10 years.
Yesssssssssss
Dig the Beavis and Butthead Poster in the background, lol. They brought that show back and there are new episodes, just as good as before. Anyway, great reaction. Keep trucking dude!
🛩....off I go...
Probably the greatest piece of dance music ever made
Foist!
Check out the live at Madison Garden version too.
Everyone's waiting for the drop
I love the idea of dancing yourself clean. So clever.
This entire album is valls to the wall fine art. Ill die on this hill too.
Love love love me some LCD Soundsystem. So many songs with great beats. Also, their live performances are amazing.
"Tried to turn it up a bit - seemed a little low."
The 3rd drop made my brother in law ask for a ride home
😎
💯
It's different I Like it 😀 Hello Teez
I love that t shirt, man. Where is it from?
Please do "Home." Same record.
Also, lead singer, James Murphy, has a record label, DFA records
James Murphy played everything on this track
@@jacksonwilliams8971 Didn't he also write a pilot episode for Seinfeld, lol
💯 🔥

Coward. The beat drop is hollow without the buildup. I wish thee a better attention span.
