    Around the Maldives 30 meters is the deepest you are allowed to go by law, at least for scuba diving. I don't know what it is for freediving... ;-) Nice freediving videos! :-)

    Unfortunately no mantas. Since they follow their food as well as whale sharks, it depends a lot on the monsoon. The winds cause the greatest concentrations of the planktonic food on the monsoonal down-current/opposite edges of the atolls. So during SW monsoon you will have the greatest chance of an encounter at the NE sides of the atolls and vice versa. But in the southern South Ari Atoll you may find whale sharks all year round. Vilamendhoo and Eurodivers provide these trips. Good luck! ;-)

    Did you also see any manta around there ?
    How did you get to see whale shark ? Was it organized by the Vilamendhoo ?
    Are whale sharks frequents in December ?

    cool video! I freedive, together with Freediver Youbuur (here on youtube).
    is it very deep where you are filming or can We dive there? You can check out his channel if you want. We dive about 20-35 meters :)
