I think apple iPhones are a hit or miss with the Quadlock ecosystem. Lots of people I know have experience using this with their iPhones and despite having the dampener installed, it still affects their iPhone camera. Since learning this, I’ve been using my older model iPhone on my quadlock, and I intend to also use an older android phone that I have stowed away. I honestly think that android is much more compatible with the quadlocks. FYI my current primary phone is an iPhone 16 pro max, so this is in no way a comment that is bias. I have experience owning both apple and android devices and both have their pros and cons :)
Right, just thought I’d share my thoughts. I’ve ruined my previous iPhone camera having no damper. Rode about 4K miles when it broke and then I’ve installed the damper, on 2K miles with the damper now and hoping 🤞🏻 it works but does it? Apparently it makes a huge difference when mounting the phone vertical not horizontal ( mines always horizontal) but is it though? I’ll get back here when ( hopefully not 😂) my phone camera fails having a damper and mounted horizontal to share my experience. Any tips and help on such an ball ache very welcome and appreciated. Safe rides y’all 💪🏻👊🏻🤙🏻
I’ve been using it on TWO different motorcycles listed on the suggested list. This phone has survived 2 years without issue. 2020 CBR 650R and 2022 Yamaha MT-09
Shouldn’t be standard because cars and bicycles don’t need it. If it was standard they would just raise the price of everything by 20. So best as an option
NO WORK!! ruin my iPhone 11 pro max camera !!!! I love the idea of quad lock but unfortunately broke my iPhone camera, yes I was using the dumper vibration since day 1. Now I have the iPhone 14 pro max and I don’t know what to do I don’t trust any mount. In the end is cheapest to buy a GPS and just use the phone as a phone and camera, I don’t know. Who has the same issue??
With that new alert that Apple sent out about not mounting your phone on a motorcycle...I feel grateful to have this on my bike!
This might be nitpicking, but how do you know if it actually works? Did you AB test it and noticed any issues without using it?

Hoped to see some measurements before and after. Am still not convinced this works.

@dimasuracalvinjake683 quad lock mount with a damper does a great job 👌🏻
@dimasuracalvinjake683 at least 10k miles
Did it broke even not using camera while riding?
As you can see in the video the phone is still violently shaking.just use an old samsung phone you dont use as a camera phone
They should def include the dampener in the kit! Definitely!
Smdh 🙄🤣
Was way too floppy on my Dyna. I couldn’t even read my gauges anymore had to return.
Why don't download vibration test app and testing?... It's just words to me
Another fire review
Thanks for watching 🙌🏼🔥

Did it broke even not using camera while riding?
I have this on my atv and love it
After what happened on my iPhone after using it as GPS and ruined my camera, I bought a cheap android for a GPS😂
Yeah these dont work
You haven’t said anything😅 thanks btw
Like for the short video thank you
Thanks for watching! I like to get to the point 🤣
It’s optional, because only iPhones need it.
no
No? Androids have OIS(optical image stabilisation) too. Unless you have a cheap phone
Pixel 8 pro here, and also OiS
It’s happened twice on iPhone 11 Pro Max.
