      Watching him play in college was awesome. He changed the baseball atmosphere here in Nashville and Vanderbilt that is for sure

    What an inspiration. This story should be shown to all kids. To show how to persevere, work hard and keep at it. No matter whether sports,school or life. I'm gladto have him in Blue! GDG

    He should have been on Vanderbilt’s first College World Series title team in ‘07. That was the best team in the country by a million miles and still is the greatest Vanderbilt team ever. That team would mop the floor with the two teams that won titles. He threw one bad pitch in ‘07 and it cost Vanderbilt their season and his college career. Most heartbreaking baseball game I’ve ever seen losing to an inferior Michigan team.

    Watched him play against my brother-in-law in HS and college. Great pitcher. Even got a baseball signed by David. Had utmost respect for him.
    However, now that the big money came to him, he is caught in the politics. Similar to LeBron in the NBA. I just want to say, shut up and play.
