I just want to say thanks for these tutorials. I’m a Houdini beginner and it’s way beyond anything I’ve looked at before, but by chugging my way through the SideFX beginner series and your stuff here too, I’m slowly starting to make some sense of it all. The possibilities are absolutely immense. This thing is a beast and I just want more!!
FWIW, i got it working in 19.5. On the Bullet Solver SOP -> Advanced Tab -> Guides Sub menu -> Uncheck the "use pre-configured set up". That's what got it working for me. Otherwise, no effect. Hope that helps.
Hi, thanks for the video. You said you can plug in anything when you want to guide sim but I see that only Bend SOP works. Any geo inputs or anything else is not doing anything to my geo even when animated to collide with it. Do you know any workouts this? Thank you.

can we guide vellum cloth sim too?
Does this method still work in houdini 19.5? Setting this up seems to not work for me, maybe I'm missing a step?
From what I can tell the "use guide" button has disappeared in the new rbdbulletsolver

Hi again, how can i make the breaking at a certain twist angle and start from the middle and spread to both ends?
Thanks in advance
Just wondering. Could you use a popgrain simulation to guide rigid bodies over a collider and induce rolling and collision behaviour?
This is what I am looking for. I'm new to Houdini and still using legacy 16 and 17 but i want to use RBDs sim from Maya/Mobu to guide houdini sim.
Nice tutorial
