I hate when people act like she is a "produced generic" popstar. There truly is no one like her or even similar, she is iconic and sweet at the same time. Even her birth name is iconic. She was born to grace the world with her unique glimmer.

Our society seems to bad mouth all these legendary artists while they're alive and when they're dead enjoy telling the sad story and then hold them in higher standards so they can sell more records and make money off their names. She's just saying Brits still here with us! Thats all and she could suffer the same fate because its a fucked up industry that has taken advantage of her.

Why was she even given this award when she started promoting baby one more time back in mid 1998, yes A LITTLE MORE THAN A YEAR BEFORE others like Christina's and even Jessica's official singles were released. She was not new, she had been around for TWO YEARS by this awards show...
