I've only heard this once before and I'm glad that I came across it again even though this reaction is old. I subscribed recently hoping for more Lucy Thomas and perhaps even some Elvis Presley when it comes to some of his masterful singing.

Rosie was written and composed by Chris Broom. The musical is based on the life of Rosie Boote, a young, poor Irish girl , marriyng a powerfull English Lord against the will of the British nobility and even the will of the King ( she passed away in 1957).
It is an old project, COVID stopped it for few years, but Chris Broom choosed Lucy to be the leading female role from the start ( when she was 14 or 15). As I know the Première should be in February 2024 in London.

Do you know that Lucy did covers of " memories" from Cats and " somewhere" from west side story at age 15/16?
About west side story, i know that Spielberg did a remake of the movie but , he did not think to inverse the roles . The girl was still an Hispanic girl and the guy was still a" full American".
Viewing the cover of Lucy : Somewhere, and noting she does not look hispanic, i thought why Spielberg did not thing to make the girl an American girl called...Elisabeth( like Taylor) and the guy , an Hispanic called...Antonio ( like Banderas).😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉. The story could have been more interesting ( specially if " Elisabeth" was Lucy..)🤗🤗🤗🤗
