I'm rocking a F58 and Kmax. Things I praise: not having to worry about plumbing, internals, and water. What I see I can clean and I can see everything, it's worry free for the person who doesn't want to understand or bother with backflushing and traditional cleaning and maintenance. I wish I had the room in the kitchen to leave my F58 in one spot but I don't have the counter space for a machine and coffee corner, so it's a real perk that I can take it out use it, then put it away. This is the perfect machine for people who are curious but aren't sure they're ready for the dedicated espresso life and may not want or understand how to take care of equipment. The things I don't like and want to change now aren't really Flair related. I wish I could practice steaming milk for all my shots so my only choice is probably getting an Argos or Decent in the future and finding the room for it, since I don't want to get just a steaming unit. But I'd be sad to give up the Flair. And while I *love* my grinder for pourover, I'm tired of faffing about for shots, when I want to practice I just want my grinds asap in my portafilter so I'm trying to find a dedicated grinder now.
For all other things coffee, I have a barazza virtuoso+ and it does a pretty great job for everything else that's not espresso so that I don't have to dial everything back in on the same grinder
Hi, did you find grinder you like to pair with flair 58? I’m trying avoid to spend too much money on grinder, but based on my research it seems like i can’t run away from an electronic grinder that cost almost / more than the machine 😞
If it’s 40sec on Jmax I wouldn’t mind, but many said flair 58 needs to pair with electronic grinder. I’ve limited budget to get the machine and hand grinder otherwise I will have to go for the Pro 2 sadly 😅😬
Hey sorry for the late response! I usually use 1 of two beans. But I think this was this one: voltagecoffeeproject.com/products/milk-and-honey-blend-6-month-gift

Thank you. Wow, that's a super fine grind...on the Turkish coffee side. I'll have to try it. Can't seem to get enough pressure... probably been grinding too coarse. 👍
Hey! Thanks for watching! It is at about 1.5 on the wheel, and i am at the top of the triangle, so at the last dot ;) I am using a 20g VST ridgeless basket with a 20g dose.
@@QuinCarter I think most people would take 1.5 to be 1 rotation and the number 5 on the wheel. Where as you mean you are at 1 rotation and the number 1 and half way to the next number. So 1.1.5 or 105 clicks?
@@stingrae789 hey! So I am at 1.5 on the wheel and the little triangle is showing the top dot on it. I'm not sure if that helps. So maybe like 1 rotation and 1.5 on the wheel
photos.app.goo.gl/ZHmyprd6vY5W65eF9 This is my approximate setting btw. I wised up and took a pic for someone else Keep in mind I also have a 20g VST precision basket so it's different than the stock one. I do have to grind a bit finer with that basket.
@@QuinCarter apparently unfiltered coffee raises cholesterol. Using a 51mm paper on the bottom of puck good so far. You can still use your disk on top but I stopped using one.

Using pro 2 and jx-pro. U don’t need electronic grinder.
