I’m new to rap, like some dude on insta hooked me up with a whole playlist to choose songs from. What I like I add to my playlist. This song is 🔥 and I feel like this dude is extremely underrated. Alongside Danny Brown who’s also underrated
The best part of the video is after he dies, the audience is just like “Awwwwww” and then booes the stage, instead of actually being sympathetic. Amazing direction.
Jake Stokes No he isn’t, he’s showing how insidious the INDUSTRY is in cashcowing these rappers. There’s also a racial message in it as well-look at all the circus actors and all the people in the crowd. It’s segregated.
A read a comment on this that mentioned something similar. It was something a long the lines of how the crowd pushes the artist/s to kill themselves but act surprised when they’re dead
Denzel Curry called this whole Juice WRLD thing. We encourage these rappers killing their bodies with these drugs and we entertain their addictions and violence until they actually go. Then all of a sudden we’re shocked.
This song is so good but for some reason the music video gave me this weird feeling inside. It’s really hard to describe. Kind of a mix of being disturbed, shocked, impressed, and realization that stuff truly is never always just how it looks. This was a rollercoaster of emotions but a masterpiece non the less.
This song is secretely raising awareness, he repeats the same words over and over; "I just want to feel myself, you want me to kill myself" this means rappers start rap under the illusion that they have freedom but at 0:37 we see that he has chains and has no freedom, the producer has a hypnotization device hanging from his neck if you look closely meaning, he is hypnotising the audience and making them ignore what is happening. At 0:47 we see the audience copying what the rappers are doing (tatoos and drinking what I think is lean) At 1:14 we hear him saying "I need hella base" but at the same time he is hanging himself with his chain possibly meaning rappers warn us that they need help and all the audience does is support their poor life choices. Again at 1:23 he says "They don't even know whats real" and you see someone from the audience look insulted meaning when rappers actually call their audience out the audience only feels insulted. At 1:30 he says the audience thinks drugs are good and when he says they're bad the producer silences him and tell the audience not to pay attention, then he says he can't even trust his friends and we see the producer taking money away from him. At 1:38 we're introduced to the drug dealer who feeds the new rappers drugs as we can see on 1:55 he gets a hotdog with drugs on top of it and gives it the girl (new rapper) at 2:33 we see the same thing happening to another young rapper trying to get fame by following the same path as the other popular rappers. At 3:10 this happens again and we see multiple people take a path that leads to fame but harms them in the process. At 3:43 we see the producer consistently pester the famous #1 rapper and telling him to get off the stage then we see the rapper pull out a gun and he kills himself. During this the crowd is cheering when he has the gun already pressing his head, then he pulls the trigger and the audience is surprised all though it was obvious. This is obviously a masterpiece both the song and the video.
Yo this analysis is crazy bro. JIDs 151 Rum has a similar deep meaning, but mostly about how labels control an artist. This is why JID and Denzel are two of the best and smartest artists atm

No one sells their soul, that's just Christian stereotype of us Luciferians and Satanists Actually Soul Selling and Sacrifice is straight from the "Christian Bible" (if you believe that it's real) Before Martin Luther broke from the church and went against it bc they were making people buy their way into heaven, the churches also let people sell their soul/give it up to their "god" in order to get into heaven
寂мercy not really, it's the edgy teenager that thinks they know everything and shout "Hail Satan" all the time and say they are a Satanist (LaVeyan or Theistic) or Luciferian (most teenagers don't know about Luciferianism) and when the edgy teenager is asked "oh your a Satanist, so you must kill people and be in a cult?" The teen answers yes and submits to the Christian stereotype of us Satanists/Luciferians Also I'm 22 and have been a Theistic Satanist/Luciferian since 15 and was never a Christian, started our atheist and read up on Aleister Crowley and That Piece Of Shit Anton LaVey

It's more of the government being itself and being corrupt and stupid and trying to kill us all Trust me if the illuminati was real, i would've found a way to join already

I agree. Considering that this is the lead single of the Gray section of Ta13oo, the rest of the Gray section will probably be as dark or darker than this.

In order to check the numbers go on your computer and go to Denzel Curry's page on Spotify... on the phone it doesn't let you see 😭
They give rappers they don't need like if a rapper takes drugs and raps about it they provide him more same with rappers who are in love with guns so they do it more and rap about it more. 🤯🤯🤯
you're blind. satan is tempting you to enjoy the music video..all the music video is doing is glorifying money. the music video is telling us that it's okay to put money over god...he'll still love us even when we sin against him. FALSE! god will not inherit sinners into his kingdom. repent so you won't perish in the lake of fire.
Lmao the message? This song has a message??! It's just incoherent disconnected rhymes that are spit out of a "generic rape song" machine. This shit is terrible and so is 99% of all the other shit like it.
FLOWR Bro we already lost x and that fucking devastated me. I don’t think I’ll even be able to deal with losing Denzel too, these guys are my biggest inspirations.
Amusing Music X situation was different he didn’t expose the music industry or what so ever he knew he was going to die and he said it . Now the industry is calling Denzel to sell his soul so they can use him and dump him, but that’s not happening (hopefully) cause he has already exposed them.
Feel proud to see Denzel finally starting to get the recognition he deserves. Been on him since 32 Zel, he been the most underrated rappers in the game for a long time.
not just the music label, but the audience, the listeners. That's why they're getting face tattoos, doing drugs, and egging on the "performer" so much so he kills himself, then when he does, they appear to be "shocked", then cheer.
Evan Parr clearly somebody doesn’t know the meaning behind the song. A song that’s gold that I think is eventually gone go platinum. You should really reevaluate your definition of garbage and get back wit me on that.👍🏽
All those people watched him put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger and laughed the whole time then acted surprised when he actually pulled the trigger 😭 that’s crazy social media in one part
He's talking about rappers hanging from their own chains... 1:15 he " sold his soul" for the music industry which is why the joker is metaphorically hypnotizing him 0:42 with these chains with the lust of power and money.. 0:37 making him perform then taking money out of his back pocket... 1:34 that's all rappers are for the industry CHECKS... he then hyponotizes with the drug culture 1:38 and has everyone brainwashed so the other metaphor is the vendor drugs the "youth" then gives her a "hotdog" meaning the culture is all about drugging girls to fuck them. 1:54 He's crying for help but everyone thinks he's playing so they just laugh... meaning everyone doesnt take rappers mental health seriously. (Still happening in today's times... think about kanye, they're villanzing him on mainstream media instead of helping him)Then at the end everyone sees he was being for real when he finally killed "himself". "Yall want me to kill myself" is because of kurt cobain... he didn't kill himself but everyone wanted that to be that case bc of his grunge music. If everyone saw into it it's obvious kurt didn't kill himself.. no finger prints on the gun.. on the pen.. and the shell wasn't even on the ejector side of the gun.. if he pulled the trigger and blew his head off obviously they would have his prints on the shellcase... there was absolutely no prints whatsoever anywhere..
Javier Lopez Hes talking about the dangers of chasing popularity, which is why it's called Clout Cobain. He then talks about how a person chasing these things may have thoughts of suicide and paranoia. And then, the people around the person are ready to plot on him to gain his clout.
at this point we can all agree, this song and the whole TABOO are true masterpieces. i love everything about this album, it changed my life, curry is a fckng genius man.
Peyton Graf What irony? Listen to his other songs where he hits 8.1 syllables per second, those songs barely scrape up a million views This dude actually talks about true problems like black on black violence, corrupt politicians, and the fucked up music industry. He got true talent, but not that much recognition What he did in this video just represents what the mainstream artist are being forced to do.
ropy89 in addition, it shows how the artists are used as puppets for record companies publicity, especially for money you can see in the music video, at 1:35 that the ringmaster is pulling hundred dollar bills out of Curry’s pocket without him knowing.

They give rappers they don't need like if a rapper takes drugs and raps about it they provide him more same with rappers who are in love with guns so they do it more and rap about it more. 🤯🤯🤯
Damm who else feeling insecure after looking at the video

Not only the message is great, but so are the visuals and music
Fuzzy Trap facts
Fuzzy Trap he's a one hit wonder lol
you're blind. satan is tempting you to enjoy the music video..all the music video is doing is glorifying money. the music video is telling us that it's okay to put money over god...he'll still love us even when we sin against him. FALSE! god will not inherit sinners into his kingdom. repent so you won't perish in the lake of fire.
odd future name one Artist who isn't
Lmao the message? This song has a message??! It's just incoherent disconnected rhymes that are spit out of a "generic rape song" machine. This shit is terrible and so is 99% of all the other shit like it.
This message is deep and important for the music industry! One of my fav rappers And Denzel is from my state too? Can't get any better than this!!
Most confusingly underrated rapper out ever.
Manic Beats you must be 12
TCB * ??? Think you misunderstood him
Manic Beats Montana of 300
I'd say Joey Bada$$ takes that spot but Denzel is definently my number 2 spot
Joe Sauter Joey is definitely more popular than Denzel, especially since he collaborated with x ( when he was still here)
Damn, Denzel showing that range.
Rip Acog who’s self advertising?
Chicken Little rice
Ur fake

He’s actually exposing these rappers and the music industry. Wake tf up
Lil Siri Im worried about Denzel because artists that expose the music industry normally end up being killed
Lil Siri this is true though about these shitty new rappers that are coming out
FLOWR so true://
FLOWR Bro we already lost x and that fucking devastated me. I don’t think I’ll even be able to deal with losing Denzel too, these guys are my biggest inspirations.
Amusing Music X situation was different he didn’t expose the music industry or what so ever he knew he was going to die and he said it . Now the industry is calling Denzel to sell his soul so they can use him and dump him, but that’s not happening (hopefully) cause he has already exposed them.
I swear ppl need to listen to this man’s music 🤩😫
El /\/iño Then share his music. That’s what I do, I share his music to my friends and family.
El /\/iño I lowkey like artists who aren’t mainstream but Denzel def needs more attention.

No and hell nah
Ben T then he'll become mainstream. Which is needed .
This generation is hypnotized in clout and they laugh at him for standing out

Won't be long they already made all the other super heros black lol
@@MrDreadEnd same 😭💀
Curry calling all these fools clowns, hahaha. I love it.
LNxTCB its not about the the clowns its about the music label controlling them to be clowns
not just the music label, but the audience, the listeners. That's why they're getting face tattoos, doing drugs, and egging on the "performer" so much so he kills himself, then when he does, they appear to be "shocked", then cheer.
LNxTCB that is all you got from this video ?
LNxTCB I think that too

Frr im glad everyone is becoming more concious about the industry and these labels 🙏🏽 right?
DEADASS.
This song just had its 2 year anniversary and it’s still relevant.
@Evan Parr shut up it’s a good song if you understand the message
Evan Parr clearly somebody doesn’t know the meaning behind the song. A song that’s gold that I think is eventually gone go platinum. You should really reevaluate your definition of garbage and get back wit me on that.👍🏽
Evan Parr nigga you prolly listen to metal fuck off
@@Ibr_k47 nah dont stoop metal down to his level. he doesn't even deserve that
@@blankblank219 youve clearly never listened to the rap they play on the radio, this shits way better lmao
All those people watched him put the gun to his head and pulled the trigger and laughed the whole time then acted surprised when he actually pulled the trigger 😭 that’s crazy social media in one part
Pretty much
He's talking about rappers hanging from their own chains...
@@Mr.Clean69420 i agree mostly but most ppl have been saying the hot dog vendor is representing labels getting upcoming rappers on drugs
Its a video not real lol
*the meaning behind this is so true we need more rappers like denzel*

AnimeKIDD 15Squad that's actually not what he's talking about at all. Think about what your're saying is deep before u say its deep.
Fallen Angel from hell let that man rest in peace, stop bringing him up just for comparisons sake, jackass.
True? What’s the meaning then?
Javier Lopez Hes talking about the dangers of chasing popularity, which is why it's called Clout Cobain. He then talks about how a person chasing these things may have thoughts of suicide and paranoia. And then, the people around the person are ready to plot on him to gain his clout.
This songs deeper and darker than most will even begin to grasp
