Jenny Manriquez If you watch Pearl's Getting to Know video, you'll learn that the whole reason Mike and Meg began adopting was because Andrew felt like he was missing a sister and so the search for Pearl began and opened their hearts to more adopted children. It's so awesome to see their relationships manifested on video! Love this family!
I hope Daniel had a good time since he was adopted pretty grownup his connection to China must be deeper. I always wonder how does he feel when I watch your videos.
I love how Elijah said in the beginning that he would be the responsible one with dad not there. And he was. He kept watching for everyone and making sure they all got on the train and off. Helping to watch the girls. He is always very helpful.
when I watch your videos of you and Ester together I'm in awe with the way she looks at you, you can so see the love, admiration and endearment she feels for you. I hope you two get lots of alone time together because I can see it fills her. 😍
a suggestion: have a code word like "form up" or something so that when a situation looks odd, the little children know to come in front of mom or dad and the older know to grab the hand of a little one or something like that.
I love how protective Andrew is of pearl. and how he was holding her. just melts my heart. I totally understand what Ester meant. I was born in Romania. and moved to California when I was 7 years old. when I went back to Romania to visit, I could hardly understand half of what they said to me sometimes. I felt so out of place. Megan, the part with the scary homeless man made me tear up a little, because as a mama I would have had a full anxiety attack. Thank You Jesus for protecting Megan and her babies.
vashti Yes!!! I wouldn’t say I’m happy that other people are uncomfortable too but it is kinda nice to hear that others feel similarly. I’m “supposed” to be French and yet when I go back I can’t really understand everything anymore and it just feel foreign and at home all at once.
Knorpp video is the perfect way to start my day. I love seeing all the kids interact and enjoy a day without the littles. Love the dynamic because your whole family but something about this day seemed extra special. 😊
whew, boy oh boy, I remember counting heads, too. When mine were little I would keep "zoo shirts" for public places or events, they were all bright green, or wide red stripes, something loud, so it was easier to run my eyes over a croud and find my gang. every one got excited when I would tell them to put on their "zoo shirts" cuz they knew we were going somewhere special.
What a fun day you all had! Megan you handled the weird guy situation perfectly although you must have been terrified. I so loved watching their faces light up when they saw something they loved from their home country. Pearl's face was a picture when she found the candy.
A big "Well done!" to Daniel. I watched the introducing the children videos yesterday and the difference between Daniel's English in August and now in December shows a great improvement.
Megan, How scary that would be to have a homeless guy eye your children! At least, you had the two older boys with you....but still, I bet it felt a lot safer when you got home to Mike! It is too bad there are people like that in the world.
Thank you for taking me to China Town. What a great adventure! I have a friend that has four children, two were adopted from Haiti, one was adopted from China and then they had a surprise baby of their own. She said something once that I was reminded of when watching y'all load up in the car. She said that with two black children, one Asian child and one white child there was always someone looking at them. Always.
I am glad you guys stayed safe! Pearl looks so tiny next to your boys! I had a run in once with a homeless person in SF myself a few years ago. I was traveling alone on business. I won't go there alone ever again! I LOVE how all of your children take care of each other! But I think Andrew and Pearl have such a special relationship!
Even though it's from December of 2016,i can't get over how much of a truly loving family this is! Ive watched many, many videos of you all,and can't get enough! Outside of my sweet mother, i never had this type of family love, and truly miss it! Love you all. God bless everyone of you.
There's just something about Pearl, she makes me think of myself a lot when I was younger and always puts a smile on my face! You guys seem like a really great family!! Hugs and hellos from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada!
It is so important for the kids to speak Chinese (i know that it is not called "Chinese", because there are many different dialects, But you get ma gist). It will open so many opportunities for them. Love you guys xxx
I actually teared up when you talked about the homeless man following you, what an awful experience. I wish no one has to go through that, you did what you could and protected your children and that's what matters. I can tell your maternal instincts came out because you didn't let go of Pearl's hand once when you went back to walking on the street, it's also so adorable how protective Andrew is of her and when he said he'd hold Pearl to make it easier on your anxiety my heart felt warmer. Apart from that, this is a great video and I'm sure the Daniel, Esther, and Pearl will remember it for the rest of their lives. I absolutely loved Pearl's smile when she found those sweets, those were my favourite when I lived in Hong Kong!!
Megan, I'm an adoptive mom of three from India. My heart was in my throat the entire video, because I know that visiting your birth culture, even if it's just China Town, can be very overwhelming. i hope the kids are doing well. As for the creepy guy I know exactly what that's like. when we're out in public I count their heads a lot, and my kids are teens. It's a habit mama bears get into. When I'm nervous, I pull everyone in. It's a fine balance you have going there with the kids. You guys are so adventurous! Should you pass through Memphis, we would love to meet up!
You just made me teary eyed....just love you Megan !!!! Love how you interact with your kids love that you still want your kids to remember their roots (Chinese) ...I am Asian not .Chinese but still have that Asian blood now residing in the USA...I miss my country of origin but have fully adapted very well living in America.Definitely love how your kids have embraced their Asian brother and sisters,,,,,love how Andrew takes care of Pearl...In short I do admire your family...you are definitely my favorite family to watch and will continue to watch ....can't wait to see your trip in Europe since we will be traveling to Europe next year too....God Bless and may He continue to give you more Blessings.
I'm so sorry you had a negative part to your visit. Glad yall are safe and sound at home. God Bless. Love and prayers from Jeannie and kiddlettes in California.
New subscriber, your family makes me happy, I'm having a hard time with my teens right now and watching your videos gave me some relief lol! God bless!
I know this is old video but I went back and watched a lot of them that I hadn't seen before and I know you're not on the road full time anymore your remodeling a RV 2 just travel and return home right now but I just wanted to say I'm so glad the comments are back and I love watching your Channel I first ran across your videos when you were traveling 4 time and introducing each one of your children and how they vechain to be part of your family and I think it's amazing what you guys have done God bless you all and I love watching videos we're families do things together I didn't have that when I was growing up I have a disability and we just didn't do a lot of things or a lot of things as a family God bless you all
I used to ride BART to work everyday! China Town in SF was always a favorite weekend trip while growing up in the Bay Area. Brought up lots of great memories, thanks for the trip down memory lane! ❤️
love your whole family, but when Pearl smiles that beautiful smile of hers...she makes my heart smile. I think she's my favorite. shhh, don't tell the others. I'm so sorry y'all had the experience of the creepy guy. May God continue to bless and protect you all.
It’s heart wrenching to hear about that homeless man stalking y’all. I’m so sorry. You did a great job protecting your babies. I only have 3.. (4 year old twins + a 2 year old) and i stress about keeping track of them when we’re in public. You’re super mom!
ive been to san frans Chinatown too many times over 15 years and never has it been that dead, its always so packed that people walk in the streets and theres no parking so i only been able to go twice, so this is a rare sight to see how dead it is! great timing on when u guys went
I am noticing how loving and accepting your bio kids are of your adopted kids. I believe this would not be the case in most families where there would be jealousy problems. Oh, how the Lord has blessed your family! May He continue to bless you!
I've watched your channel for ages and I love it soooo much! Always brings a smile to my face all the way in Ireland 🇮🇪 😊 Esthers hair looks unreal here!! Watching the love Andrew has for Pearl is amazing in this video!!
Great video! I loved to see Daniel get so excited about Chinatown! I hope they continue to love their culture and heritage and remember their language and the things they loved about China. And maybe visit China again some day?
I think it was great that Mom went out with the older kids on an outing! It is scary to think about the creeps that are out there! Praise the Lord for his protection! So wonderful how the older brothers were looking out for Pearl, holding her hand. I also loved Megan holding Pearls hand. Pear doesn't seem to speak as much so to me I felt like by Mum holding Pearls hand made her feel secure! Even for Esther to have the creep tap her on the shoulder! I am sure even off camera you were able to have some good conversations and memories made! Bless you Knorpp family! :)
You guys need a code name when something happens. Scary. I would have walked up to a cashier and chilled nearby.. Thank goddess you guys have Elijah to also watch the kids.
It's so fun watching you discover things in my own backyard (I live in Monterey) 😍 Love watching you and your wonderful family. I also live fulltime in an RV and share your doTerra excitement with you. Good stuff. Thank you for sharing your life with us all so freely and thank you for giving these wonderful children a chance at such a wonderful life. You are all blessed 😍
I'm glad you all are okay. It's terrifying when someone follows you. Glad you all had fun. I admire what you are doing with your family. I think its fantastic going around and experiencing where history was made not just reading about it. 💕
It's so awesome! somehow you guys made me rethink about life. Simple and happy! thank you so much for the video, and your lovely family can affect the world to be a better place each day. We need more people like you guys need to understand each other's culture and respect. When they grow up, they can create a better world. Hopefully, I can be courage someday to choose the way I want my life to be. Have the people I like to be around. and help others who need help in the world. You guys are being great parents so far, you guys are someone I am looking up to. God bless you and your lovely family! all the best!
Elijah is so handsome, I love the way he helps look after his family it shows great character and the girl who dates him is going to be very very lucky and spoilt 😘😊😍😃😃😃 love you guys
Hi there !!! Just found your channel about two-three days ago and I just want to let u know just how inspiring ur family is. You have a beautiful family and I can't help but feel touched that you two adopted so many children. I've been binge watching your videos these past few days and I can't get enough of ur family. I love your vlogs and am praying that bigger, greater things come your way in the future !! :)
I just stumbled upon your vlog and started watching. I loved it! Kudos to you for being able to to take care of your kids patiently. Looks like you had lots of fun in SF. Now I'm gonna continue watching your other vlogs 😀
I love those golden cats also and managed good few years ago to pick one up in Queensland, Australia at Chinese market and took it all the way home to Scotland with me. Best present to myself ever 👍🏼
I've been following you guys for quite a while now. I am so inspired by your family! Love watching you having an awesome life, just doing your thing. You do such a good job at parenting I mean we can only watch like 20 mins of your life but the kids look happy and thankful and that's so nice! Greetings from Germany, maybe some day you'll visit Europe and we can meet! Sophie 😊
K sykes Yes! She must really be tired. because she also wrote sent many years living in China. Instead of spent many years living in China. Although I only have 2 I know how she feels. I'm on the road a lot with my 2 on a weekly basis. it's not easy.
Ahhh Megan, I totally understand how you felt with that homeless creep. When I was 18 me and my mum got followed in London and spat on by a tramp, shouting profanities. We ran into the nearest tube station for safety but the experience really unnerved us both and I am still hyper aware in big cities 10 years on from that experience! These incidences are actually very rare and try to not dwell on it. Sending love and light! X
If you guys are ever in NYC, check out Flushing in Queens. It's a lot less touristy and more authentic with a lot of different restaurants from different regions in China. And it's in my opinion a lot better than Chinatown in Manhattan.
It's so adorable how the boys always take care of Pearl, especially Andrew.
Jenny Manriquez I was thinking the same thing. All of them are so sweet and selfless. ❤️
Jenny Manriquez If you watch Pearl's Getting to Know video, you'll learn that the whole reason Mike and Meg began adopting was because Andrew felt like he was missing a sister and so the search for Pearl began and opened their hearts to more adopted children. Abby J They are a great family. Thanks I'll give that video a watch.
Love how protective the boys are of Pearl.
Because of Pearl they started adoptin
I hope Daniel had a good time since he was adopted pretty grownup his connection to China must be deeper. I always wonder how does he feel when I watch your videos.
Ashely C Yeah like he knows fluent chinese, too.
I love how Elijah said in the beginning that he would be the responsible one with dad not there. And he was. He kept watching for everyone and making sure they all got on the train and off. Helping to watch the girls. He is always very helpful.

Pamela M - watch their running buddy video and you'll hear just how much Esther loves mom. So sweet. :)
Pamela M agreed, this is the best comment ever

Yes! Great Idea! I do that or at least try
hoping they are listening. My boys and or family. :)
Betsy Oman Clever
Betsy Oman mine was..pssst! Like I was going to tell them a secret. Worked very well for us usually lol
I live in San Francisco and having a homeless man follow you and stuff like that is quite normal. Usually if you let them be they’ll leave you alone.
Aww Pearl and Andrew holding hands was so cute
I love how protective Andrew is of pearl. and how he was holding her. just melts my heart.

I love the way all the kids are protective of the little ones.
Esther's hair is so beautiful! and I love seeing Daniel so excited :) I can't say this enough, you have such a great family!
Aww this makes me so happy :) your children treat eachother so well!!! You both are such great parents!!
Elijah sounds a lot like his dad. I kept thinking, "Wait, I thought Mike was at home." lol

Love how your kids bond and watch out for each other
Elijah and Andrew you guys rock! So caring and loving!
What a fun day you all had! Megan you handled the weird guy situation perfectly although you must have been terrified.
I so loved watching their faces light up when they saw something they loved from their home country. Pearl's face was a picture when she found the candy.
That was Daniel's day! He looked very happy, love it!
I never realized how much of a comedian Daniel is😂
“Of course, I’m talking to you in Chinese!” Haha, hilarious! You’ve got a sharp kid!
A big "Well done!" to Daniel. I watched the introducing the children videos yesterday and the difference between Daniel's English in August and now in December shows a great improvement.
Daniel's big ol' smile made me grin. I'm sure it makes it all worth it for your mommas heart! ❤️❤️
im sorry that happened to you guys i know it was scary may god bless you and protect you everywhere you guys go. much love from arizona 💖
Megan, How scary that would be to have a homeless guy eye your children! At least, you had the two older boys with you....but still, I bet it felt a lot safer when you got home to Mike! It is too bad there are people like that in the world.
Yeah because anyone can be followed by anyone no matter who it is,
rich or poor AND sometimes secretly too :( Have a good day :)
oh no, not a homeless person! God forbid! @@

I just love going with your family on your adventures.
Altough Chinatown is impressive. It's just what people think China looks like. The people are nice tough, and the food is so good!
Btw:
12:00 thought it was the background music playing there and the kids got happy. haha!
I just stumbled upon your vlog and started watching. I loved it! Kudos to you for being able to to take care of your kids patiently. Looks like you had lots of fun in SF. Now I'm gonna continue watching your other vlogs 😀

I live in Houston, Txas. We also have a Chinatown. Love it! Especially the 20$ foot massages!
