I only started listening to them about a year and a half ago but I've become a huge fan and dearly wish they'd reform. I know every single one of them are busy with their own projects atm, but John doing Crooks on Tape with Rick Lee gives me hope they can reform as the four-piece that I think they'd intended before Rick Lee quit.
My then girlfriend introduced me to this band during our early years in relationship. From Enon I discovered Brainiac.. completely blew my mind.. Both really inspiring
They were great at everything they did cause everyone who ever played in that band was firing on all cylinders at all times. I also hear they double as rocket scientists during the day.
I was obsessed w/ the song 'Murder Sounds' after a friend made me a few discs of different bands. Reminds me of playing it in my Buick that was like driving a big, comfy couch 20yrs ago....another life ago.
Matthew Cowles Teisco TG-64. It's a Sears catalog special from the 60s. It's their answer to the Fender Jaguar and Jazzmaster. To make them remotely playable though you should take it to a shop for a really good set up. John was nice and let me play it the first time my band opened up for Enon. He's had a few mods done to his. They used to be cheap but now are quite expensive. I've had a few Teiscos. They sound great. Might wanna have it set up though like I said.
I freaking love enon. My step dad knows John, and I think he was friends with him at one point. I think they are really underrated, and it makes me sad. People need to stop listening to music about sex, drugs, and violence for once and maybe appreciate music like enon.
@@kuzey7809 oh yeah they're in my top 5 favorite bands for sure, but the drug and sex lyrical content is undeniable, especially since John did acid back in the 90s lmao
Enon was fantastic. John did a great job to express himself post Brainiac and deserves serious credit for making some bad ass music.

lucky guy!!!
piano sounds sooo good on natural disasters
I love the live version of natural disasters so much better!!!
Murder Sounds is brilliant and to me a great example at what they were best at, far out minimal pop music.

Nice playlist. Just discovered this band thanks to you. :)

Awesome! One of my favorites from the early-00's. John's playing guitar in Caribou now as well.
