Please stop talking about Diana Spencer. This piece of music has got absolutely nothing to do with her life or death.
This version is beautiful, however the version sung at Diana's funeral, with the regular sound of the soldier's steel capped boots in regular rhythm as a counterpoint still sends shivers down my spine. Somehow, the base notes that appeared at Westminster Abbey really set that one on another level.
Hard to believe this magnificent sound is created by only 8 singers!
Fabulous! Bass continuum is faultless and diction is perfect. Just 8 voices!
The dissonance in this is so cool!!
This is such exceptional writing and singing! I couldn't love this any more!! You are the most exceptional group - thank you for your amazing gifts to all of us choir nerds!!!
This is a fitting tribute to the late Princess Diana. RIP, Diana. 🕊
Both the bass and soprano continuums are gloriously incredible 😯
Haunting - made more poignant by the ever present bass drone. Serene beauty, especially the ending.
Juxtaposition of f major and f minor with a constant f in the bass. A beautiful masterpiece of colour.
Alleluia, Alleluia
Mesmerising, haunting and wonderful dissonance
Wow!!! My Uncle just sent this to me .its so breathtaking so pure so beautiful❤❤❤❤Thank you xxx🕊🙏
This magnificent performance would have pleased Tavener greatly. It's quite wonderful.
I sang this piece with my choir for our winter performance. I'm honored to have had the opportunity to experience this piece. Beautiful work.
When HM King Charles lll gave his speech after the death of HM Queen Elizabeth ll, he used a stanza from the song.... May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest....i often wonder if he thinks of Diana, especially now with things the way they are with Harry....this is a very beautiful song and the meaning behind it is a beutiful tribute
For my friend Barbara Nelson, RIP.
Good Heavens... Divine!
What a find. Beautiful!
the mastery and clarity of 8 voices only, incredible and brilliant as ever!
