This team is still building confidence in each other. Now we are having to give the bench more time and build confidence with them . I think this has been good for the team because we won’t go very far with just the core 5. Also our defense has improved which frees up the players from having to concentrate on offense and shooting in better rhythm. These guys are learning their roles, trusting the coaching and playing locked in.
Almonor continues to impress, we would’ve lost 2 or 3 games without him. Amari definitely has some head scratchers but when he’s on, we can beat anybody. BG is the one I hope sticks around for a while, he’s just too immature right now but with his size and athleticism he could shine next year
Love seeing the bench guys getting some run against a tough defense and responding well. A really good example of the team's growth this season. What did you think about Pope's statement on butler postgame? "IF and when he comes back...." Just a figure of speech?? (I hope)
@@sportsanddiscourse7675 I hope he can so we can gear up for March, but I also don't want them to get rusty and out of physical shape either. Tough sledding in February but I like our chances!
Trent Noah, Almanor and the other bench players who don't get plenty of playing time seem kinda awkward or nervous. Going forward, we do need more bench player time. I would like to see better shooting from Amari. Amari needs to play like a 7' er not 6'er. I can see Kentucky beating Arkansas by double digits.
Go Cats!!
We needed this one ☝🏽

Right 💯… BG definitely has raw talent and could become super solid after he polishes up

I think he’s gonna try to hold them out as long as he can
