I have to say if you have a chance to go to a liv tournament, and you like to drink, it's an absolute no-brainer. I went to the event outside Boston last year and it was the coolest golf event I've been to since the 99 ryder cup

I honestly think smaller pool of players makes for more competition and better performances. Whenever I watch PGA it just doesnt feel like competition, I cant put my finger on it... Rory is best example, once he had his run he has been cruising since and collecting money. If he was in a smaller pool of players and you keep seeing few guys winning it, getting all the money and glory that would have fired him up. This is why I believe Nicklaus era was better and what he achieved in is better since you had more competition. Just look how many majors all those guys won combined its not even close.
What is the "drop zone" and outside of "points" mean?
If you're talking about the LIV standings, starting this season, the players below and including 45th in points (the drop zone) are relegated (out of LIV) and may enter a 4 day relegation tournament in late November to see who gets those spots. Out of points means that you did not get any points in a given tournament. Only the top 24 get points in any given tournament. At the end of the season, the top 24 and captains are exempt from relegation. The remaining players are "free agents" that team captains may recruit. Any player not recruited is also relegated.

With all due respect, I feel that the background music with DJs, all the men wearing shorts with tan shaven legs? And the whole team thing - is too big of a departure from the PGA from the get-go.
It's just my opinion, and I don't know if anybody else feels like I do, and I know money is involved in the transition, so that's something.
I'm glad that the players are getting plenty of money for their game and their time but I think it's just a little bit too quick and too abrupt change…

I think it's more watchable and more modern. Much prefer LIV
The music is one hole and sometimes the 18th. The music is chosen by the player. The players like the shorts. Have you tried watching the PGA lately? It's downright unwatchable. Scratch that... they DON'T let you watch it. Only their favorite two or three players. You can't watch the first two days in most cases. It has tons of commercials between shots. The delays are insane. Remember that LIV golf was created to be different. To me, LIV is just more relaxing and they show all the players.

Under par is good. Above par is bad. Par is how many shots its supposed to take to get the ball in the hole. So if you do it in less, that's good.
