They really do. Went through 2 pregnancy and both my obgyn and nurses at the hospital were so loving, supportive and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Congrats Catherine and Austin for your baby boy

I think she was calm while giving birth because the camera was thre and she didn't want to like scream or shout a lot
She had an epidural most women only feel pressure after a epidural. So she probably didn't feel it when she was pushing. It not like that for every woman but it was for her
She had an epidural it is supposed to take the pain away so you feel pressure and weight but not the pain of labor thats why she said for them to "tell me when I'm having a contraction". The hours of pain comes from the contractions and if you are unmedicated you feel the baby moving down and the baby coming out as well. That's where the "screaming" comes in...

That’s why epidurals exist lol takes away the pain. You can tell by the way she tells the dr to tell her when she’s having a contraction that she had an epidural. You literally don’t feel anything lol

As I just had my second baby which was a girl, I watch this and tear up so much because i can feel all the pain and all the love you are going through! What an amazing feeling it is to bring a child into the world. Austin you are seriously such an amazing man for being there for Catherine the way you were. I wish my daughters father was there for me like this but it's okay. I am a strong women and mother. God bless you on your beautiful boy Steel. I just gave birth to my daughter, Bryleigh on 2/13/2021 and I kept thinking while I was pushing how much Catherine was such a QUEEN pushing all three of her beautiful babies out, it made me push my daughter out in ONE beautiful push!!! I was pregnant when I watched this and wondered why she didn’t yell while giving birth and realized she took the epidural for pain. I recently gave birth and had the epidural myself and when I pushed my baby I felt no pain but pressure. The only hard thing was the breathing in and pushing while holding breath in

I think he kept looking at the camera to make sure he didn't get his wife's business in the shot. One little shift and there it is. I think he was sweet. My husband just sits in the chair on his phone when I'm in labor. I think he just doesn't know how to comfort me so he gives me space until it's time to push. Not everyone's spouse is a dream birthing partner. You can't compare people to other people everyone has their own way of dealing. I thought the excitement in the video was sweet.

I believe she had an epidural. The doctor and nurse are telling her when to push (without an epidural a woman knows when to push because of the strong contractions) and she said she can’t feel her legs. If the epidural is working fine --it helps wonders!!!
I wish the ace family would let people know that she gets the epidural in advance so they don’t portray this image where some women are overreacting when they’re in labor.
