Does the "smoldering" mean this is a creosote heavy smoke? Oxygen starved, smoldering wood leads to acrid taste when using my electric smoker with a ~1/4" airflow hole on the top and bottom. This seems not lack the oxygen starvation part, so it might not have the same issues. Looks really well made and useable like any other cold smoker in many different applications.
Great video. As amazing as these cookers are, there is criminally little content showing how to actually cook on them and such. I feel like you'd be selling more grills if more people on RUclips were using them to cook with. Even the few you can find who have them seem to have sold out to KJ at some point.
Rum and Cook on RUclips still has about 35 videos with KK grills even though he now has a contract with KJ. Sold out is not a fair description.. He invests a lot of time, and these larger companies have large budgets to subsidize and encourage/motivate content providers to use their products.. I will also be posting more content.
Appreciate the video since the unit I received didn’t have instructions. Also didn’t have an aquarium pump but that’s easy enough to pick up a tap a pet store.
Hi Dennis, very nice device. Is there is a way to add the generator port to older KK's? Edit: I just read on your website that there is a tube to allow use of the existing Guru port for the smoke generator. I will put it on my wish list!
Thank you Dennis, I brought one last month, and it really is a game changer , fantastic and very simple to use, I recommend to everyone
Helpful video, but I would like to see more explanation of the “aquarium pump.” Is it part of the kit?

Pretty awesome but i think I would have preferred if it was mounted out of sight at the back of the unit.
