the krovoprolitiye oni is a reference to jetstream sam a really cool boss from metal gear rising revengeance
he holds the murasama sword (sam's sword) and has his music playing (the only thing i know for real)

In all honesty, Ao Oni is really scary, particularly because of it's music - so simple yet so effective...
It does give me serious creeps. In the original game there is so much lack of music and sound, that when Ao Oni appears, it does scare the soul out of you, even with such simple sounds.

Some of these are pretty cool, some of them kinda seem like some shit an edgy teenager would make, though I suppose that's a bit on-par with half the shit in the actual original game.

@@Linux55 that is exactly what I was referencing by the end of my comment, that the original game is sorta one of those classic but incredibly edgy sorts of games. "Edgy teenager" isn't even an insult for me, I should've clarified, as I myself AM an edgy teenager, I just meant it as a general description of some of the NPCs rather than as a statement to insult the designs or whatever. The original game is an odd mix of comedic and freaky, so having some funny NPCs mixed with the actually freaky fuckers makes sense
