Have you had issues with the bushings squeaking at all?

The E30 still isn't on the road after all this time, but it will be soon! Hopefully no squeaking as that would be highly annoying.

Are you not supposed to use silicone grease for polyurethane bushings??

Technically yes, but copper grease is a popular and safe alternative. I was surprised by that too, but seems to be the case! Some people prefer it as it has a bit more staying power too.
