I love those videos, too. I was telling my husband the other day to mind his own cilia and keep his flagella to himself. 🤣 I've always been a big fan of the overlap of science and art, so this is especially fun for me. I could see this project being a hit with grade school kids, too. You did a great job.
YES!!! I was coming to say the same!! I love that this community is also fans! Everything Complexly puts out is great (Scishow, Bizarre Beasts, Crash Course etc.. The new one about the Universe is amazing! But I am very sad that Journey to the Microcosmos is coming to an end. 😞 BUT I am so excited to try this out! And make it my own chance to experiment. I find doing this kind of all-in-one, wet on wet, blending, glazing, doodling combo to be so relaxing and fun! Thank you!
Great idea about the lessons from a cross curricular teacher who is also an artist. Could also work for learning about marine life. Specifically plankton. I’m working on a card game as we speak, painting marine life on each card. :)

I've also seen diatoms art. Equally fun and lends to patterns. I am definitely going to explore both of these!
Yes, this is definitely a great opportunity to experiment, but also make something along the way!
Best part is just watching how watercolor works. 😊♥️
I love watching how colors react with each other 😍
