I just put this on my Grom a couple days ago, SOUNDS AMAZING! My neighbor came outside while I was riding up and down the street and he said it made the Grom sound much bigger. I just forgot to get the tag bracket. lol

Dan Toce is working on an exhaust for the Krom. He already has a couple prototypes that he sent me photos of.

Serious Question??? I like the looks of the Toce exhaust but they sound of the MNNTHBX better. Is there a realistic way to marry the Toce header/midpipe to the MNNTHBX muffler tips without having to buy 2 complete systems and butchering them together?

Im hearing all types of hooror stories of runing an exhaust without a power commander. I will not do an airbox mod. Im keeping just the full exhaust and doing an ecu reset should i buy the power commander?

Hey guys, I have been a loyal customer for a while with my 600rr.
The lady is looking to purchase a Grom soon, but I have a couple of questions.
On your website I was looking at the Toce bundle pack, I'm assuming that does NOT include the fender eliminator kit? If not, then what does that undertail tray do? I would assume that was the fender elim kit?
Also, the fender elim kit itself to the right of it on your website shows license plate kit options, so I would assume that the Toce bundle package did not specify this in the drop-down tabs, however it does show lighting options for integrated turn signals in regards to a tail light, just looking for clarification so we know what to exactly order from you when she purchases her Grom in the upcoming week(s). Just want to avoid confusion if possible.

I think the best thing for you to do is to call our support guys at the office M-F 9-5. Someone can answer all the questions you may have and also be able to recommend the most economical way to purchase the components, as we do have some bundles that can save you a couple bucks here and there. Is it possible to mount the license plate light without melting the cable?
You can route the wire in between both canisters without any issues. The canisters do not get hot enough to melt the wires although the midpipe can.

Would love to keep my Toce exhaust on my bike, I think it looks great and sounds awesome, but unfortunately have to switch it out since I’m going big bore. Piping diameter size is way to small especially the header, and will serve as a choke point.
Are there any off the shelf exhausts that you can use? Or will you have to make a header/midpipe of appropriate size anyway
TSTindustries thinking of doing custom piping ...1.25’’ midpiipe then taper off to 1.75” with bung for my wideband. Have you guys considered making bigger diameter piping for guys going big bore and a bung option for those running a wideband?
Will this work with the getbent short subcage?
There will be some modifications that you will need to make to the undertail components and you will likely need spacers that will offset the subframe mounting surfaces through the undertail.
Can I mount this exhaust without the integrated taillight and just the fender eliminator??

Beta Male I have one on mine. I have a get bent sub cage and it was a bitch to get right, I’ll be honest. Impaktech makes one that fits right around it and I would recommend that. I fought for about an hour to get mine right

I have a SSR Razkull. I have heard that lots of Grom Exhaust interchange. Do you know if this pipe will work on a Razskull by SSR? Really like the looks of this pipe

How do you mount a license plate light ? Will a ohlis shock fit this setup?
License plate is easy. You drill a 1/8" hole in the undertail and pass the wire through. Our license plate sandwiches between the license plate bracket and license plate. We have not confirmed fit with the ohlins shock yet.
Would I need a power commander or fuel controller for this setup? Thank you..
It is highly recommended if you want to achieve any tangible performance upgrade but not required.

Why is this exhaust only for racing and illegal for road?
When you replace the OEM header you are removing the catalytic converter and increasing the noise beyond legal limits.
are you guys going to bring this out for the z125?
Toce has prototypes but they aren't sure if they are going to go into production. They are co-sponsoring a team with us that will be testing them in a race setting. We will be posting a video of the Z125 version soon but there is no telling if these will ever be actually available for purchase.

How will you get turn signals mounted on with this exhaust
The bike in the video has our integrated tail light so the signals are in the tail. For external signals we have three kits that will mount to the license plate setup. You can see them in our product pages: tstindustries.com/Honda-Grom-2017/

Where do you put the turn signals
On this particular bike we have installed out undertail/integrated tail light kit ( ruclips.net/video/3IH73l4rxgw/видео.html ) . The signals on the bike in the video are inn the tail light. If you want to run external pod signals we have several kits that will mount to the license plate bracket or the bottom of the undertail. Those can be found in the Grom category of product on our website TSTindustries.com
Does the ECU need to be reset after installation?
Many guys ride this configuration with no ECU flash. For best results we recommend tuning the fuel delivery in some way, whether it be a piggyback computer or a flash.

Can you drive without a muffler? Sure but we don't recommend it.

According to our measurements-yes. We still have to mount one up on one of our Groms that uses the Ohlins shock before we can commit to saying yes absolutely. We are waiting for one of our guys to bring in the Grom with the shock. We will make that information public when we have it.

Then a business has to recoup the cost of the R&D, along with the cost of materials and labor to make every single exhaust. Not to mention marketing, promotions, insurances, etc. It all ads up. The price tag on this exhaust is very competitive among other full exhausts for this bike. If you want to save money....keep your stock exhaust.

We haven't tried yet. I know Dan Toce is working together with one of the cage companies to make sure the systems are compatible but we haven't heard any results yet. Sorry man....wish I had better info for you.

It is very similar. Not many differences between the two bikes except the fairings.

Will this fit with a stunt cage?
Unfortunately this exhaust will not work with any stunt cage at this time. Toce Performance is currently working with a "cage" company to design a solution.

This exhaust is only designed and verified to fit on the Honda Grom and will not fit the Bajaj 220f Pulsar. We do not carry any products for that bike.
Is it legal in Europe?
You will need to check your particular local laws in regards to legality of certain products. None of our products contain any sort of approval or certification for on-road use.
No, in EU if you are aware has db laws just like in the US as well....however in US they aren't really enforced...in EU it's much more enforced. Take the risk as you see fit.

This is the note from our product page "NON U.S. BUYERS: Our bracket is designed for U.S. plates and fits a hole spacing of 5.09 to 6.16 inches with 5mm hardware. It is your responsibility to verify fitment before making your purchase." I think it will help you determine if the plate you have will fit.

do you need to tune it?
To take full advantage of any performance gain beyond the weight loss you would need to tune the bike on a dyno. For that I would recommend changing the intake as well. It is pretty inexpensive to do that and yields better results than the exhaust alone. I figure, if you are going to invest in a dyno tune you might as well maximize the gains from the mods. If you leave it not tuned you won't harm anything but you basically just spent money on more noise and a modest at best performance gain.

I look at is this way. Yoshi and two brothers are $450 Buttttt. A fender eleminator kit is $60-$100. This exhaust system comes with a bracket for licence plate. Makes up for increased cost.
Not only that but you will only gain like 5hp from this. Im sure its very noticeable on a small bike but only tops out at like 63 mph anyway. It does look cool ill give it that, but id rather just fabricobble my own exhaust for 70 dollhairs.

J Gomes lol real bikes are still out here man. The Grom has became more of a stunt type mini bike for young people (or people who like stunting).
For me I own a 2015 CBR600rr, a 2017 Indian Chief Dark Horse, and just went ahead and bought a Grom just to stunt it out. The real bikes are still there, just matter of preference or having fun
Everybody have already a Real bike, this are for fun!
The Grom is a very good bike for younger riders, especially those who like/want to learn how to stunt and/or like to fiddle and do their own work on their bikes. Even "expert riders" like the Royal Jordanian love to trash this little thing around in London and if you own a trailer/caravan this is an excellent add on. Much better than a bicycle.
