I had the luxury of seeing a Bugatti from around that era. It was a 1937 Type 57, and it showed up late to a car show. Your example is absolutely beautiful!
@@MapleLeafCustoms it was super cool to see. The guy had said it was purchased new back in 1938, and been passed down through the family. They kept the car looking clean, and pristine. I'm almost positive I have pictures of it, somewhere
Very ambitious to disassemble a Rio! They are at the same level as Franklin Mint when it comes to details! I have two in my collection and I can't imagine disassembling either of them, and especially to reassemble them correctly. You did a wonderful job with this one! Thank you for hosting the Canada Day invitational.
This is a verry cool casting that looks fantastic in these colors! Great job! Yeah, a lot of pieces 😅 with your boxing system you don‘t loose them 😉 I hope you had a great canada day!
gorgeous car to use. looks awesome in the red and white. bet I took alot of patience putting it back together. happy canada from Abbotsford bc canada 🇨🇦 eh
cool man shared like loved ! i did a wheel swap F-150 lighing i may do a build i wasn't read this year health no doing good but this build you rocked it Canadian stile :D right on
This was an interesting build ,some of these castings have a lot of small part's, but you managed it no problems.and it looks really smart. All the best Martin
Andrew, you are a better, and more brave, Bergson than I. The disassembly was harrowing. My wife has a 1:64 version she wants me to do. May be a slight bit less daunting. As always, fabulous work, thank you so much for sharing it!
The Bugatti T50 is a very classy automobile. Mine was indeed a challenge with SO many parts to it, but that's all part of stretching oneself in the hobby. I hope you'll do yours too. 🍁☕️👊😀
Andrew, I love how you challenge yourself. It inspires me. To be honest, when I saw photos, I thought this was a 1/64th-scale car. To learn it's practically a part-for-part recreation in a larger scale impresses me (but doesn't surprise me) even more. This really came out clean and neat, and I could easily see that in a gift shop in the Great White North. And not a single McKenzie Brothers reference. Wonderful! Happy Canada Day, Andrew!
Thanks for the kind feedback, Tom. It was a challenge to do the Rio. They're well made! Was a busy week for all of us, but many celebration worthy events! 🍁☕️🎉🇨🇦
I used to have one of those cars as a kid 😂 thank for sharing
Rio made a beautiful casting. Very detailed in every way. ☕️🍁👍👊

I relied heavily upon my disassembly video footage when putting it back together. Still took a few tries! 🍁☕️🎉🇨🇦
Incredible build. A few more parts and it’d have a working drivetrain.
Thanks, Leo. Probably the most detailed casting I've worked on yet. Challenging. 🍁☕️🎉🇨🇦
Looks awesome, very nicely done, Andrew.👍👍
Thanks so much, Mike. It's a special day for me, so I picked a top of the line car. 🍁☕️🎉🇨🇦

Thanks, Big C. I appreciate our Canada/US alliance. 🍁☕️🎉🇨🇦🇺🇸
Very nice Dominion Day model Andrew. I really like the choice of black fenders to compliment the standard red and white. Cheers, Timo
Thanks, Timo. I recall seeing someone else do that very same thing recently... 🍁☕️🎉🇨🇦😀
Beautiful build Andrew happy Canada Day
Thank you, Bob! Far from home, but still strongly patriotic! 🍁☕️🎉🇨🇦

Thanks, Martin. I was thinking this was more of your type of puzzle than mine! 🍁☕️🎉🇨🇦😀
Fantastic puzzle you pieced together to celebrate 🎉 Canada Day. Came out awesome 🍁🇨🇦
Thanks, GW. I appreciate you doing a car too! So many participants this year. It was a great party! 🍁☕️🎉🇨🇦

Amazing build Andrew. I was impressed with the dissembling part. But came out awesome. So nice
