Well, lemme get this straight; I started off listening to classic rock and slow rock but somehow I didn't expect ended up listening to thrash metal, death metal and black metal. Can you make a video about your metal journey cuz I started to listen to the heavier music piece about two years ago. I'm 17 this year and you know what, finding someone like you gives me hope in the metal community👍🤗🤗 love your content and keep that horns up!🤘🤘

I believe there is another band that sits alongside the "Holy Trinity" and get overlooked but are just as important and powerful. Uriah Heep rocks and they are still putting out great music. I finally saw them live in 2019 and they were so good. Rock On and great video.

Good video for beginners. Nice to find another Asian metalhead content creator. I'm a fan of traditional heavy metal, power metal, epic heavy metal, black metal, and nu metal.
I have a topic suggestion-- a video showcasing heavy metal music from various parts of Asia, so that other people can see how much metal our continent has to offer.

because it is the most diverse metal genre which sometimes includes Pop elements that make it very suited for new people to introduce to metal
And second because metalcore has a lot of siffefent styles and varieties, such as listed above including: Melodic Metalcore, Ambient / Atmosperic Metslcore, Nu-Metalcore, Pop Metalcore, Rap / Hip Hop Metalcore, Djentcore and the classic original Harcore Metal (that started this entire genre)
Thats why I mentioned all the diffetent stykes of metalflcore, because they might be interesting and relevant to some people to discover

@@alternativerockemo6783 Metalcore and deathcore is the least diverse genre and it really isn't metal for the most part. And most of those "genres" you listed sound made up.
I can't take people who call metalcore and deathcore 'metal' seriously when half the stuff sounds even less like hardcore and more like emo. There's some that is like watered down death, thrash, etc with chugs and breakdowns but a lot of it is just whimpy screamo. The roots are not the same as actual metal. I've heard more core bands draw from alternative, emo, screamo, pop punk, dubstep, etc. So no it isn't metal, stylistically a majority of those bands don't draw influence from blues, hard rock, heavy psych, early rock n roll or doo wop, jazz, real punk and hardcore, etc.

      @@putridabomination
Just because you don't know something or haven't heard of it before, doesn't mean it doesn't exist or "isn't metal"
It just means that you are a very narrow minded and simple minded ignorant person, but that's your problem
Sucks to be you i guess 🤷‍♂️
You are most likely thinking about *Post-Hardcore* bands, which are often confused with Metalcore bands since they both use similar elements but in a difffetent style (the original Metalcore is much heavier and sounds more "Metallic" using heavy influence from Death Metal, while the *Post-hardcore* bands (that you are thinking about) are generally softer and often include Emo and Pop elements that make it more suitable for people who are new to metal music and not used to heavier sounds
That's why Post-harcore is a relative good entry for a lot of people who are new to metal, so they can get used to some harsh screaming vocals but not too much overwhelmed
Metalcore (the original one) is definitely Metal as much as Metal can be, it was literally influenced by death metal
It uses heavily downtuned metal riffs creating a groovy metallic sound (that you call "chugging") with powerful punchy blastbeat drumming and double-kick bass drums and heavy metal growling and sometimes heavy Breakdowns too
What else is this if not metal?
      Jazz? Country? Opera?
Don't be that obnoxious wannabe elitist that nobody likes.
You don't seem to understand that "metal" music in general is not only Thrash Metal (or whatever metal genre you listen to)
Metal music is the most diverse music genre in existance, there are so many different styles and subgenres of metal music.
You don't have to like all of them personally for them to be considered as part of the metal genre.
Even if you don't like a certain subgenre, it still doesnt change the fact that it is indeed part of metal music, as long as it uses heavy downtuned metal riffs with heavy metal drumming
