The Indians are probably looking at them because they have a camera and are recording. Asian faces are pretty common in India as 1/4th of Indians look the same(they're from the North East India). So even if you're Chinese/Thai/Korean/Japanese we Indians would think of you as Indian only as even people from North East are pretty bad at Hindi(One of the major National Languages).
