This band accompanied me in my best and worst moments of my life.
My adolescence was almost marked by this band and at the age of 34 they continue to mark my daily life.
I fell in love completely and surrendered to this unmistakable voice.
There are more years to enjoy this magnificence.

I am 42 and I could literally overdose on nostalgia. The 90's was the last decade where there was still an innocence to life. They had the best movies, tv, and music. I sometimes sit and just close my eyes and go back to this time on my mind...just immersing myself in all the memories. I cry a lot just yearning for those days that I can never get back. The world is such a 💩show today and I just wish I could be a kid again. Just wanting to relive all those precious times 😢. I thank God for RUclips...one of the only online platforms I really look at. Savage Garden needs to bring back the good music. It's been over 10 years since they've been out of the picture, and they still top a lot of the music that's out there today. Please, if any of the band members are seeing this, please consider at least one reunion! Savage Garden is the only band i ever saw on a concert, it was years ago, maybe 19 or 20 years ago? But i remember, it was a mindblowing show and i will never forget how i madly fell in love with them. I was so excited, i was young, beginning of my twentys and it was my very first concert, i learned every single songtext before, to be sure i can sing every single word...i was so nervous. We have a stand in the first row, bad idea if i think how strong the crowd want to be near the stage, i had difficulties with breathing^^ But the concert was absolutly great, their voices live and directly in front of my nose, the music, the bass, the firework, the costumes....IT WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!! I still remember one of darren's trousers on that evening, a red one, maybe leather or silikon and with many buckles, this look was so sexy! After the concert we waited for a long time near the garage and really, we saw them both again as they leave (it was the E-Werk, Essen, germany), sadly we could only greet from 3 meters afar, but the way home, i was on cloud nr. 7^^ This song is my alltime favorite from all their songs!!! Even after this long time, i still feel a connection and once in a year i "found" them again and stopped by to listen again to their music, to remember the "feel-so-good" - Feeling :)

    Break Me Shake Me"
I never thought I'd change my
    opinion again
But you moved me in a way that I've
    never known
You moved me in a way that I've
    never known
But straight away you just moved
    into position again
You abused me in a way that I've
    never known
You abused me in a way that I've
    never known
    [chorus:]
So break me shake me hate me
    take me over
When the madness stops then you
    will be alone
Just break me shake me hate me
    take me over
When the madness stops then you
    will be alone
So you're the kind who deals with the
    games in the mind
Well you confuse me in a way that
    I've never known
You confuse me in a way that I've
    never known
    [chorus]
She says, "I can help you, but what
    do you say?"
But it's not free baby, you'll have
    to pay
You just keep me contemplating, that
    your soul is slowly fading
God don't you know that I live with a ton
    of regret?
'Cause I used to move you in a way that
    you've never known
But then I accused you in a way that
    you've never known
But you hurt me in a way that I've
    never known...
Break me shake me hate me take
    me over
When the madness stops then you
    will be alone
So won't you break me shake me
    hate me take me over
When the madness stops then you
    will be alone
    Listen, baby
    You'll be, you'll be alone
Break me shake me hate me take
    me make me
Fake me break me shake me hate
    me take me
    Break me

A close friend who was crazy about Savage Garden won a competition where she was able to go out for dinner with the band and then had backstage passes to their concerts. That was back in the 90's.
Pity Darren began batting for the other team after they became so popular.
