Sometimes I have to choose one or the other on applications or when filling out forms. Sometimes i pick Native American and some time i choose Black because I can. Trump approved regular funding for black colleges and universities, that shows that he cares about all Americans.
Trump doesn’t pander, use fake accents, and he could care less if someone is only there to get soundbites 😆 Bravo to the woman in black who asked the tough questions while also remaining professional. She should have been the moderator. She proved that journalism isn’t entirely dead.
I think an opportunity was missed on what could have been discussed as far as his policies for black communities and what type of opportunities & improvements he has planned for places like inner city neighborhoods across the country, like New York, Chicago, Detroit etc. I think the first line of questioning was full of animosity & bias right out of the gate. I feel like a lot of time was wasted because, of how the first initial line of questioning was so aggressive, that it changed the direction & tone of what could have been an insightful conversation. I know in past interviews, I've watched and listened to the excitement and the passion in his voice that he has, when he talks about lifting up some of the poorer communities in our country, and creating desirable employment opportunities for everyone, no matter the color of their skin. I feel as though this conversation could have been directed differently which could have resulted in a more positive outcome. Why can't journalists just talk to Donald Trump civilly & just have a normal conversation??? If they did that, then maybe they would get some of the answers they're looking for. It seems,they're always trying to make him be on the defensive. I think he handled himself very well, despite the aggressive tone of questioning, he did not take the bait.

How do you 'accept' a position as a ethnicity? Biden didn't 'accept' the position as a white man. I went back and reread her speech she gave to the DNC on 2020, She called her mother a black woman. Then she praised other ethnicities. She mentions black women twice with emphasis, but she didn't 'call' herself anything. She graduated from an HBC and is a member of the black caucus. So I think it's safe to see how she identifies....Not that it matters.

When I first saw Kamala, years ago, she referred to herself as Indian. Also, one of the judges who knew her father stated that Mr. Harris claimed to be Caucasian mixed with Irish & Hindu and had no black ancestors. His Irish ancestors owned slaves in Jamaca, where he was born. So, I didn't know she was black either.
