This was inspirational for the youngsters to speak. I started flying at a very young age and made some bad choices unfortunately. Now I'm trying to get back into it at a much older age. I just wish I hadn't done see of the stupid crap I did years ago but it's all in the past now. All I can do is work on the future from here on. Thanks as always for putting these videos together for us all guys.
Great episode Dan and Christy, thank you. I really appreciate the look into gliding. Definitely looks like a great experience. Dan, I hope you are feeling better. Thank you for continuing to produce great content. Keep up the great work. Safe sky's. 🤘🇺🇸🛩️
Awesome Job, gliding isn't as prominent in the US but is quite big around Europe! But, if you get the opportunity have a go! I am Amelia, a 15-year-old solo glider pilot with almost 100 hours in gliders. I was actually at Husbands Bosworth when you guys were filming, thank you for covering so much about the Women's Worlds in your video! See you in the skies!
I always wanted to be a bush pilot - good on her, hope that she makes her dream come true, sadly I didn't have the opportunity in the end (although I was flying at 13). I'd like to see more youngsters in GA, whatever the gender, also I'd like to see more GA development and manufacturing in the UK with said youngsters heading it up. These days very rarely does the UK build a whole aeroplane - back in the 1960s and 70s we made hundreds of different makes/brands. Our medium sized airfields are getting built upon, becoming wind or solar farms, or storage for motor vehicles awaiting semiconductors etc - a sad reflection.
