- Just a quick video of a Milwaukee M18 battery adapter I built to run a diy 12v camp shower and other small accessories while on the road or at camp.
I apologize for the vertical video I realized after the build was completed and wires were covered that the camera changed. Stay tuned for my next video to see this in action. Thanks for watching 🙌🏼

I did the same thing with a m18 12v power wheels adapter and a 100w car inverter. Works like a dream and only cost me $40 and 10 minutes of work
Love it man! it feels good to diy something and it work great and be cheap
That's a neat idea! Thanks for sharing
Milwaukee makes a device exactly like this that clips on battery and has USB port and round port for charging 12v accessories… they have an internal circuit board with all the reducers built in. They are very compact and inexpensive. Mine was around $20 new a few years back
Nice! if I need a second one or mine goes bad I look into it I was unaware of them when I made this
The 12v DC Barrel plug on the Milwaukee adapter only provides 1 amp of power which is good for almost nothing.
That's the same setup I have for my boat depth finder. I didn't really need to use the step down adapter to 12 volts but I guess it doesn't hurt.
That’s awesome. These batteries run good . I did the step down because I have a 12v water pump that could burn out pushing the 18v . I didn’t want to risk it
Thanks for this. I wanted to do this exact setup. Thanks mate
I love it I use it all the time
Upon my research
Milwaukee make the cheap power source adapter. ThT apparently automatically steps down to 12v on the DC output.
I wonder if I rig up a cig socket to have a DC make plug, would that be a more compact setup
I’ve never see the adapter your mentioning and mine made simple dog bone style is pretty compact without the battery
