Smite 2 should be a smite 1 clone but improved in every way. Who thought it was a good idea for mages to build crit im actually terrified for freyas release. If people think sols broken wait till crit freya comes out it would be unplayable.
She's probably going to face a major rework. Her kit would break the game.
Smite 1 just got an update which is great because they were planning on literally not touching. Seems they buffed a bunch of gods, items got buffed as well and CD reduced. I’m going to try it out again, haven’t touched smite1 in a few weeks tbh.

I don’t get why they spent 10 years making smite 1 good, then ditching it for a completely different feeling game. It reminds me of RuneScape trying to change the core of the game and then just having to remake the “old school” version

If people want the game to be more like Smite 1 then why make or play Smite 2 at all?
smite 2 is going to be free on launch, its not like its hard to get it, the biggest draw and need for smite 2 was graphics and better animations, all the big changes with relics, STR/INT and crit with mages/guardians has been objectively hated by the majority of players.
If they are going to make Smite 2 more like Smite 1 than whats even the point of having smite 2.

Sorry for the book probably just mad but I gota say content creators are helping doom smite, sure hirez has made some dumb dumb moves but the content creators are definitely having an effect on the players dwindling. bet alot of people simply didn't want to try smite 2, not after the week or so long doomposting from almost all smites bigger creators. Reap what you sow
smite 2 was doomed from the start, the problem isn't that people aren't paying to play the alpha, it's that the alpha is dogshit. there were over 10k people on smite 2 the first day but the game is just not good. my friends and I paid to play it and haven't touched it since the first week lol
Okay that's fair, maybe I have some personal bias. I Really didn't feel like it was as bad as people said, though I did get bored pretty quickly before they added ama and nuwa. after their release I was kinda reinvigorated so chalked the boredom upto the small roster. Ty for reading my book lmfao
