Note: These ramblings are mostly inspired by TSAMS and Celestial Bodies. They are kinda my interpretations of what could have happened to Sun and Moon in FNAF SB based on the songs played. Not canon at all, AU-ish, just speculation really. Keep in mind. Lights on - Revolves around Sundrop as the 'sole' Daycare Attendant and follows him and Moon when they encounter Gregory. Daycare theme (Night): Takes place after Gregory is banned by Sun. Sun, physically and mentally exhausted especially since he has been running 24/7, sits on the balcony of the castle watching over the entire Daycare. He reminisces about the good times when he and Moon were originally separate twin animatronics and how things were calm, peaceful and perfect despite the difficulties they faced. Never getting rid of me: Takes place shortly after Sun & Moon's creator was 'let go' from Fazbear Entertainment and they were forcibly merged into one animatronic. The trauma from having his endoskeleton wrecked, his insides removed and and his hard drive soldered to Sun, leaves Moon very bitter towards their predicament. It's possible that he has been sour towards Sun as being the 'lucky one' whose main body didn't get violated and destroyed, and who got dominant control over the body they both share. Him saying 'You're never getting rid of me' is a threat or a sarcastic remark towards Sun, made even more true once he was infected by the virus implanted into his system. Turn it down: Takes place in Sun's perspective ever since the Daycare was closed down for 'renovation'. Him being programmed to be hypersensitive to his surroundings (this mainly to help if any children go missing and he needs to find them) works against him as he hears complaints, rumors and gossip from parents and other customers alike about the Daycare getting shut down due to the children disappearing. It also doesn't help that the remaining children are afraid of the celestial animatronics, especially after the one time Moon dropped a naughty child from a high level on the wire as 'punishment'. He also catches on about the other Glamrocks (Freddy being the exception) losing control, this getting help from them was not an option. He then thinks of Moon, of how Moon had sadly lamented once in one of their fights that now that Sun is always active, the latter is pushed into the shadows, into the back of their mind. The last bit is when Sun finally loses it and breaks down as the Daycare is ravaged by the fire with him and Moon having no way out. Turn the lights off: At this point, Moon somehow is released from the virus and is faced with the fire in the Daycare and Sun screaming their voice box off. After getting to higher ground, Moon manages to coax Sun to tell him everything that had happened. Moon feels shock and guilt towards what he had been forced to do while infected, and is also angry as he realises that Sun had been forced to clean up after him and look the other way so as to prevent them both from getting decommissioned completely. After a few minutes, Moon traces the origin of the virus, and he and Sun reconcile before breaking out of the Daycare. However, the twins had also agreed in their minds that even if they get destroyed tonight, they are taking the perpetrator down with them. They still have a little time, they will make do... We are aware: I imagined this as Vanny still being in the Pizzaplex while Freddy and Gregory deal with Afton underground. Sun and Moon are stalking Vanny, chastising her and taunting her for using them to 'make their friends disappear'. Vanny tries to infect the Daycare Attendant with the virus again, but this time it doesn't work (can be due to the twins developing a different virus or a security program to combat it, or the console she used to hack and infect other animatronics is damaged by the heat of the flames). Eventually they manage to corner her, and they appear before her as Eclipse, their minds merged into one and their appearance more horrifying due to damage from the fire. They waste no time in taking her down, making sure she doesn't leave the building alive. Rises the moon: Their goal completed, Eclipse escapes the Pizzaplex and enters a nearby forest where they collapse and their minds separate once again. Their battery is running low and the damage the heat has done to their hard drives are taking its toll on them. Before Sun fully shuts down, he requests Moon to sing for him one of the lullabies that they would sing to the children during Naptime. It was Sun and Moon's favourite song, the first one they were introduced to by their Creator that was not a usual nursery rhyme. Moon obliges, and continues to sing even when he senses Sun having fully run out and he follows suit. As he shuts down, Moon wonders about the whereabouts of their Creator and remembers the day she was fired from Fazbear Entertainment and how them being shut off at the time prevented them from helping her. Are you satisfied: Takes place in Sun and Moon's Creator's POV. The Creator was fired after she went against her superiors who wanted to trash one of the Daycare Attendants and use their endoskeleton as a replacement for one of the Glamrocks. Having heavily protested against the decision but unable to take her creations home with her, she was left with no choice but to leave empty handed and in despair. She is working for a different company and appears to be fine with her colleagues, but the sadness still plagues her and her habit of overworking and being perfectionistic sometimes turns people off. One day, she finds herself unable to work and decides to take a drive around her neighbourhood. She goes into a rarely used road and notices a trail of oil and broken parts leading to the forest nearby. She is heartbroken upon recognizing the body of the Daycare Attendant, but develops new determination to save her 'babies'. The story ends with Sun & Moon waking up in a sitting room while hooked onto a small generator, and being reunited with their Creator once more.
