Have you maybe asked your doctor for melatonin?? It's a sleep hormone I have to take it because I don't sleep :)

@@bubblzzTV you just have one, and there are ones for little kids. Usually gummies, and not addictive
@@e.l.lifestylesall medication have a possibility of addiction tho kids don’t have that addictive hormone yet you shouldn’t be giving kids or young teens sleep medication because of that possibility, unless their doctor recommends it
My mom always forced an early bedtime, even as a teenager. I was never allowed to stay past 9:00 PM. So, this shift because of hormones never applied to me personally. Now, that I'm in University it was a big jump from getting 9-10 hours of sleep to 4-5 hours because I have to study, and work. I literally sleep around midnight and wake up around 4am on weekdays and 3 am on weekends to get everything done. It's exhausting, and never have I ever looked to the end of the term more anxiously than now where I can finally average around 8 hours of sleep again.

As a 13 year old, I find it really hard to fall asleep in complete silence too, and I play audible books on my Alexa! Idk if that would count for the no electronics, but it really helps me :)

I wish I had brooks room and that my parents cared that much about my sleep. But what would make me most happy is that your kids appreciate their parents love & care and if they have their own kids when they grow up, they'll love & care for them as much as you guys did :)

This video kinda makes me chuckle because my mom was always just like, "Your body knows what you need to do." And this video is basically just telling us that you need to control it because it doesn't know what to do. Y'know, 9-10 hours of sleep, all different matrices for different positions, blinds open on weekdays for natural light, only sleep less than 2 hours on weekends, stuff like that.
I am not even half way in and I am impressed by the patience you have 💖
I learned some stuff for me to sleep better and I’m 45, thanks for all your work and doing the research so we don’t have to. Mattress Firm really is a great place to go my dad got his bed from them and he loves it.

I think leaving the windows open and letting your body wake up to the natural sunlight is a great idea! We have blackout curtain in my kids room, but i only use them on the weekend. However, can you see through the bamboo curtains without the lining? Mine in the past were see through so just fyi.

This is so helpful! I’m asking for a full size bed and mattress for Christmas because I’ve had my twin for 7 years! And it’s making my sleep worse and worse by day!
A twin bed definitely does not fit a growing tween/teen at all, I feel so bad for teens that are tall that have to deal with a short small bed, glad your asking for an upgrade! Lmk if they got you it!
@@Ariel-lol a twin bed is fine. It’s just that I’ve had it for a rly long time, I don’t rly care if I don’t get it and none of ur business if I do get a diff bed lol
@@Ariel-lol Actually in other countries (e.g. Germany) it is not really common for teenagers to have a double bed. You usually just keep your childhood twin bed until you move out. Except for maybe when you grow extra tall like 2 meters or sth.

I have a tip with the blue light if your kids like to use screens before bed and it causes problems with their eyes.Their is blue protection glasses which blocks the blue light

I am 12 and still sleeping with White noise been doing it sense 2011 it helps me sleep. i have adhd and the noise helps me go to sleep faster
I’m in high school and I actually get ready for bed at a good time. Problem is I am a bookworm and once I pick up a book it’s so hard to put it down and turn off the light so I end up staying up really late 😐
